This is the very 1st Michaels that I ever walked into. Conveniently located
on Thirteen Mile Road and Schoenherr. They have a huge parking lot -
with a bank Lasalle Bank (used to be Standard Federal) where my eldest works. Anyways I love this Michaels it is huge. We went in to buy supplies
to make wedding favors and I found the most adorable bears dressed as a
wedding couple...and I just couldn't resist. This would be so cute on the Bride's table and they gave me a huge discount!!! Just love this store!

This restaurant is great - just get there early, because everyone else knows its great as well. The service is very good. The restaurant itself is clean and well maintained. The food is very good and there is a lot of variety and selection for your money, meaning, the prices are very reasonable. It is a good place to take your family for any meal.

I have bought different gifts for people from Lavdas. Each time I have been very happy. The staff is very helpful and the prices are great. I have found some pretty great gifts. I would go back for future purchases because of the helpfulness of the staff and the prices. Their selection is so great that I’m sure anyone would be able to find what they are looking for.

I am so very picky when it comes to italian cooking and not very often am I really
on fire about an Italian Restaurant. But Firenze absolutely does have the best
pasta dishes around! They have the pasta in a crock type dish and than they
melt the cheese right over the top of the dish and down the sides. They are the
only restaurant with this delicious benefit. Firenze is right on 10 mile road, east
of van dyke and kitty corner from ABC appliance warehouse of Centerline. Worth
going out of your way for!!!

My husband purchase my engagement ring/wedding band from Lavadas nearly four years ago. I absolutely love my ring, it's beautiful. The service there is great. Since my wedding, I've relocated to Florida, but when I'm in town I go back for my cleaning and inspection of my ring. I highly recommend Lavadas Jewelers.

Produce Palace has the best produce in this area that I have seen. They have a wide variety of items and their employees always go the extra mile to help you find what it is you are looking for. I purchase my lunch meat, meat and produce from here on a weekly basis and have yet to be disappointed.

Sure the Dim Sum is fantastic here. Although the waiters speak little English and when asked to explain a dish, they say a few words in Chinese followed by the word "pork." So you're on your own there. But the best kept secret is the Sushi. There's a small Sushi Bar as you enter. The fish is all on display and couldn't be fresher. There's a $7.95 lunch special which is overwhelming not only in quality, but quantity as well. I could finish about 3/4ths of it. Ordered ala carte, I'll bet it would have cost closer to $20. I love this place!
Pros: Authentic Dim Sum and fantastic Sushi. Excellent value on the Sushi
Cons: The Dim Sum portion is justt a big banquet hall--but teh Sushi bar is quiet and intimate
