Worst service shop ever 1/27/2020

My son currently went off to the Navy and he informed Hamilton that I, his mother would be taking over responsibility of his car. He was to leave on Dec 17 on Dec. the transmission went out on his car which was under warranty at Hamilton. He had it towed there and I went to ask how long would it be I was told they were a couple of weeks behind. After waiting 3 weeks with no word I went to check on it and was treated rudely by Kevin he snapped and said I told you I would call you when I knew something. I asked about a loaner and was told "he's not in town anyway" meaning my son. This lead me to believe that there was no rush sense my son was not here in town. I called to speak with the Dealership manager and the service shop manager and no one ever called me back. It wasn't until after 5 weeks he called my daughter in law to tell her the issue and when it was done. Very poor customer service and poor treatment of people. I would not recommend you take your car, motorcycle or bike here more

Helpful and Friendly People at Hamilton 11/5/2015

I wanted to purchase a new car and narrowed my choices to either the Impala or Equinox. The web page shows color options but its not the same as seeing the colors in the sunlight. At some dealerships, you can't walk onto the lot without being harassed by sales or security. Hamilton's lot was organized (on the used-car side) by models, so I looked at the colors on different makes. Even with a security vehicle and people in the lot, they let you walk/drive around and look freely without pressure. When I eventually wanted to speak with someone, I went inside the new car side and the receptionist greeted me right away. I had scheduled an appointment with April Wood, the internet sales consultant. April was approachable, not pushy, and very efficient. She asked what I was looking for in a car. Then she showed me those features on showroom cars and explained my available options. During the whole time, you could see the people at Hamilton going about their business. It seems like they enjoy their jobs since they were smiling and friendly. I don't often purchase a car, but I didn't feel uncomfortable in this dealership. It made purchasing our new car pleasant and easy. Very high marks for the people at Hamilton Chevrolet! more

dirty cars 10/25/2011

i went to hamilton chevrolet to look at certified used cars. when i arrived at the lot no one would come out and wait on me as i looked over their inventory. the cars were dirty, missing hupcaps and had dings and scraches all over the bodys. when a salesman did come out he gave me 5 mins. of his time telling me the prices were all fixed and ther was no discount on a certified car. well i left and went to ed rinke chevrolet on vandyke. i should have went there first. i was waited on as i walked on the lot. there cars were clean and spotless. the salesman was friendly and when i asked about prices he was happy to take my offer to his boss. i bought a car that day and am very happy with ed rinke chevrolet. linda s. more

Good Dealer with Good Service! 9/20/2005

I have purchased my last 3 cars from Hamilton Chevrolet. I had visited several dealerships in the area before stoping at Hamilton. George Brown was assigned to me as the sales man and he was by far the nicest and easiest to deal with of any sales person I have ever talked to. They have a friendly and efficent service department as well. Always fast and friendly. more

Car Dealer that cares about the Customer 8/16/2005

In Feb 2005, I needed to purchase/lease a new vehicle! So I started looking around and went to one dealership that had some great specials running, but where I was treated very poorly. THe next day, I called up Hamilton Chevrolet and the salesman on the phone was willing to work with the special from the other dealer! In Under 48 hours, Hamilton Chevrolet was able to beat the price of the other dealer, get my new car ready and all financing approved and have me out the door on my way home in a new car! The experience was a rare one considering I only spent about 30 minutes total in the dealership! They took care of everything for me. Also, they offer Massages when you take your car in for service! Usually once a month, they have a massage therapist on site for people getting car service done! more
