We recently visited this restaurant with another couple because we all wanted to try something different. We were severely disappointed with the food and service. The quality of ingredients was VERY poor. The garlic shrimp were not de-veined, the churrasco was very tough and fatty, and the cheeses on the cold mixed platter tasted like a refrigerator. Many of the meats were drowning in sweet sauces which also made me suspicious. Four of us ordered ten tapas and four entrées, and the only thing we enjoyed was the decor! I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all.

One thing about this place is that everyone seems to be having a good time! In good weather, they have some windows that open out to the outside so you can see the hustle and bustle of Moody Street go by. In all the times I've been, I've never ordered entrees but rather have ordered an array of cold and hot tapas. The quality is a mixed bag -- the tortilla is unspectacular, the beef tenderloin with chimichurri is very tender, the gambas (shrimp) al ajillo (with garlic) is too salty but the sauce soaks up well in bread, etc. etc. Of course it ends up being a bit expensive but not overly so if you don't go overboard (if everyone gets a drink and 2-3 tapas, it's about $25 per person plus tip. If actually pans out to have a bigger group and stick to 2 tapas per person). It's easy to overdo it on the drinks because they are very good (yummy sangria), and that's where the price can add up. The service is good, not great. Nicely decorated.

Oooh I love this place! The tapas here are really scrumptious. Last time I was there I had the duck with raspberry sauce and it was out of this world. I once had some Mojitos there that were RAWTHER tasty as well. Great in the summertime when they open up the front of the restaurant so you can be in the fresh air and people watch while you munch.

Tapas are fun, and at this lively Moody Street venue, they're fun and good. The sangria is delicious, and in the summer they open up the front windows of the bar area to the street. The scallops in saffron sauce are delicious, and the tiny lamb chops are delectable. Very busy after work Mondays through Frideays.
