Despite some of the previous over-pretentious reviews, this place is hands-down one of the best brew pubs you are likely to find. If you appreciate a well-crafted brew and great food, do not miss this gem. I have fined and frank at many fine microbreweries and brewpubs alike...my final consensus is that I wish my local brewpub would hire watch city's brewer and line cooks.

I love their beer. They brew their own and they do a damn good job of it. But the food...oh the food. It was never what you would call great, but it seems like every year it just slips further and further. Last time I was there I ordered a veggie burger - I have never seen a veggie burger quite like this. It was 2 planks of consolidated vegetable matter burned to a crisp on the grill, piled onto puffy white bun. The Moody Street Stount only just made up for this abomination.

I had no problem leaving...so can't talk about the food or drink quality. After a movie tried to pop in for a quick pint and some pub food. Initial entry, drab and dreary, hostess sitting at bar watching TV, took her about 2 minutes to roll off of stool and waddle over to stand, place was two thirds empty, so requested seating by front window was instead was put next to a large party of load men looking like they were seriously overserved. Also was in front of one of those aviation hanger size fans which had the effect of an indoor Santa Anna wind, not date conversation friendly. Waited 10 minutes and food server hadn't even popped into area. Mind you there was just the big top and one other 2 top waiting for their food in this section. Their food arrived as they started to get up after calling it quits, to which they loudly objected to the quality and temp of the heating lamped food. This didn't bode well for a nice evening out, so we took the obvious omens from the gods and left. I guess there was a reason it was dead on a Friday at 9 pm, everyone else had their 1 bad experience and hasn't been back. Pros: The pay properly tax Cons: Their wasting space for a good restaraunt.

This bar has the most creative flavors of beer I've ever seen - and they actually taste good! Blueberry, pumpkin, chocolate - to name a few! And the atmosphere is very nice. A large center bar with dining tables and booths surrounding it. They also have a couple dart boards which always add to a good time. Oh - and the food is excellent!!

My brother and I went to the Watch City Brewery for lunch this afternoon with my 2 year old nephew. We were seated almost immediately, then no one greeted us again for at least 15 minutes. The waitress barely spoke about a whisper when she came over to us finally and did not say sorry for walking by us 4 times prior to greeting us. Honestly, we almost went someplace else but my nephew was really hungry. The food came up quick, thankfully, but the manner in which it was served as well as the fact that the waitress never came back to offer another drink or ask how everything was made for a very disappointing dining experience. Pros: Good Food Cons: Poor Service, Overpriced

Watch City brews some spectacular beers - this is not the place for the 'lite' beer sipper. If you like real beer, waste no more time and try out Watch City. Some of the best local brews I've had in the area. The food is also impressively tasty, though I must say the quality of their brews overshadows the food for me. I've always been happy with my meals, and their menu is seemingly always expanding. The Watch City Roller is a nice accompaniment to a pint of Hops Explosion IPA. Prices are more than reasonable - just beware the crowds at dinner hour. Pros: great beer, good food, atmosphere

I have been going to Watch City for years. It just gets better and better. Reviews by whinny vegatarions DO NOT COUNT!! The food is great. I bring my kids in on Sundays. It is a very kid friendly place. The movie theatre next door is great too. You can have a nice dinner(pasta, fish, sandwiches). Then just walk 100 yards to the movies. Did I mention the beer?
