I know some people enjoy this food but the preparation is disgusting. I went into Tiki House last night. ONE OF THE GUYS HANDLING FOOD HAD SEVERE PSORIASIS AND WAS ACTUALLY SCRATCHING HIS UNCOVERED HEAD AND THEN PUTTING FOOD INTO BOXES AND PLATES. I watched him handle my food but absolutely could not eat a single bite. My only other complaint is the pricing. I had seen the menu with cheap prices but somehow two plates with rice, one having chicken fingers, the other boneless spareribs, came out to $22. Based on the menu taped down in front of me I was under the impression food here is cheap. I had sampled the food from a neighbor who was eating it at his house and it was actually good. But from my experience of seeing the restaurant itself, the process of plating and condition of people doing it, I could never in my life order food from or recommend this restaurant. Pros: When I had sampled the food years ago it tasted good. Cons: A MAN WITH SEVERE PSORIASIS, CONTINUOUSLY SCRATCHED HIS UNCOVERED HEAD, AND THEN PLATED FOOD.

I eat at the Tiki house about once a month, but I always go for the appetizers. The spare ribs with or without bones are fantastic. Beef teriaki, peking ravioli, and eggroll are the best around.There seems to be a lot of msg in the food, because you always feel the need for 3 glasses of water after the meal. All the MAIN dishes I have tried are rather average at best, and the soups are a little bland, but it's always entertaining to see all the drunks stroll in at 2am looking for a good meal.

This is a review for a Chiniese Restaurant. I have been going there all my life and they have great Chinese food. Their prices are good. They do not have a large sitting area however, it is more for take out. There is only 3 tables. The people are friendly and the service is fast. They deliver til 3am. Would recommend.

Honestly, the only particularly good thing to be said about Tiki House is that it's open late; generally, you can watch your food being greasily cooked (why wouldn't they enclose that area so at least you couldn't watch?) and feel your appetite vanish. Go for safer possibilities -- like white rice or pre-bought spring rolls, say -- when you need your late night fix.
