It doesn't stand out from the outside, but those who have eaten here will never forget it. It's a small family owned business who primarily does take-out business. They serve homemade italian classics, panini, and baked goods. They also have a deli counter serving Boar's Head cold cuts. This is the type of cooking that makes everyone feel like they ate at someone's Italian grandmother's house. the pasta is cooked to perfection and you can tell that the ingredients are fresh and of a high quality. The staff is extremely friendly. I highly recommend the egplant parmagiana (which is made layered like a lasagna) and the caprece salad (fresh tomatoes, basil, fresh mozarella and penne tossed in oil and garlic). The cannoli's are filled to order and are delicious. I think I gain weight just walking in!

Sabatino's is an excellent little Italian place located right on Main Street in Waltham. I've eaten many of their menu items - from homemade lasagna to pizza. Everything is great...but the best part about Sabitino's is their pizza. I recommend their traditional Italian-style thin-crust pizza - it is the best pizza I have had in this area and comes with a variety of toppings. I usually get their food delivered as the parking in that area is a bit difficult. But - the delivery is quick (always on time, and prompt, no more than 30 mins) and the food arrives hot! I love this place and HIGHLY recommend it for someone looking for delicious pizza!
Pros: speedy delivery, awesome pizza
Cons: parking

Simply put: great pizza, delivered quickly. If you're within their delivery area, I'd recommend giving them a call. They were even quick to resolve a wrong order - they had a new girl taking orders and she used the wrong abbreviation for pepperoni and instead gave us peppers. When I called to mention what had happened, they offered a refund or a new pie. I opted for the new pie and it arrived, delivered by the manager, just a short time later. That's service!

Dominic's is my favorite lunch spot. Delicious pre-made Italian sandwhiches, or made to order, with delicious homemade bread. They really care about the ingredients here. It closes really early however, and I don't think its open on the weekends. They also have great pasta dishes and creative Italian dishes that I would order more often if the sandwhiches weren't so good! The pizza could use a little more umph. Definitely worth visiting.
Pros: Best Sandwhiches, Italian Meats, Fresh Ingredients
Cons: Closes Early, Lines

Lena's is the best. Since we discovered it two weeks ago, we have gotten take-out like 3 or 4 times from there. They're subs are really good...not just drunk at 2 am in a greasy pizza joint good like most sub shops. The meat is all really lean & the food is high quality & fairly cheap. Plus I love the cute lil man with all the tattoos who makes my sub. A real hidden find, plus I'm pretty sure it's good luck. Eat your heart out Sub-Way (not affiliated with Subway Inc).
Pros: Best Subs in Waltham, hands-down
Cons: Not much atmosphere, you'll want to do pick-up here

In the food war between Moody Street neighbors Asian Grill and Tom Can Cook, I think Tom Can Cook wins on most fronts hands down. Tom?s has a nicer dining room. The modern art and cool color lights give the place a trendy feel. I like their pad Thai and Asian fusion dishes better as well. A few things in Asian Grill?s favor: their dining room is slightly bigger and they do have a sushi bar.

Ponzu is the best - I've been eating here since it opened a few years ago, and everyone I've ever talked to who's been loves it! By the second time you go there, you are greeted as an old friend and often given free nibbles to start the meal (either that or the chef wants to fatten my husband and me up). Excellent quality sushi and a wonderful array of creative dishes drawing from Japanese, Chinese, Indonesian, Korean and other cuisines.
Pros: delicious, creative Asian fusion, great chef and crew

Dominics is by far "THE BEST ITALIAN FOOD" I have ever had catered. The "homemade" bread is out of this world. You can just taste the quality of his product. North End watch out !!!!!! Rice ball better than "NONNA" ! The owner "Chero" really knows his business. Not only is he professional but he is a terrific guy. I grew up in the restaurant business and it's refreshing to know that there are a few really superb business owners around. I will recommend and use Dominics from this day forward.
Pros: BEST RICE BALL AND SAUCE EVER
Cons: NONE
