This service station, though a bit of a drive for me, is worth the trip. The mechanics here are friendly, competent and honest... a rare treat in mechanics!
They are happy to work with people who tinker with their own cars (like my boyfriend) and give advice and help. Their prices are incredibly reasonable, and I have never walked away feeling cheated.
I have had horrible luck in the past with mechanics, but now that I have been introduced to this service station I feel my luck has changed.

Roman Cheung -- who does all the work himself -- is a fine craftsman, a skilled mechanic, and a good listener. He has a full range of diagnostic equipment, access to first-quality parts (both OEM and aftermarket, as appropriate), can be trusted with major repairs as well as routine maintenance (which includes thorough inspection).

The Cars Co is your typical auto mechanic, who will take almost any job, but is best at standard stuff (no high-tech repairs, please). They don't specialize in any specific make. Their best use is to perform regular maintenance and basic repairs like brakes or suspension. They also perform body work, and do it very well. The owners (Eugene, Vlad, and Slava) are nice people, they are very courteous and accommodating. They will fix whatever needs to be fixed, and they will never try to gouge you for unnecessary repairs.
