It's a pretty good community college! If you want to transfer to Cal Poly Pomona, Mt. Sac is the right place for you to go. Mt. Sac is located in City of Walnut and 2 mins. away from Cal Poly Pomona. I attended there for the first two years of Unv. There is a lot of classes for you to take. The professors are generally nice and friendly. A lot of people who attended Mt. Sac College ended up transfering to Cal Poly Pomona or Cal State Fullerton. I had a hard time finding a parking space at Mt. Sac but hey what school has no problem parking?

Mt. SAC is a good community college for either trying to achieve something such as an associate degree or just for taking some adult classes on various skills.
It's a good place to go if you're just trying to learn about something such as auto repair or some thing. The classes are very affordable and there is usually a wide range of classes to pick from.
Parking is large enough to hold enough cars for the school. There is also parking across the street and is close enough to walk to some local businesses.

This is a great program for youngsters for swimming lessons! The classes are half hour in length, monday through thursdays, but seems to work well with the young ones. They start you off at level 1, then move you up depending on your skills and improvements. This program is offered every summer in various sections. A lot of fun for the kids, and you get to sit back and watch them learn! Very inexpensive!

Mt. San Antonio College is located in Walnut city near West Covina and Diamond Bar. Alot of students attend this jr. college before they transfer to other universities. Local high school students also take classes here either to get ahead or simply satisfy high school general education requirements. This college offers many classes but due to the enormous population of this campus, it is often hard to get the classes you want.

My educational experience with Mt. Sac has been positive overall. They have a pretty extensive and diverse list of classes, and it's relatively easy to register for classes. My one complaint is that while you can do some of your registering online, you can't do all of it and the online set up can be confusing. Besides that, I think that most of the teachers are great, and that it is very good community college.

1. I love Mt. Sac. I graduated and transfered to CSUF prepared and GE certified!
2. I hate the math dept. especially Matt Munro, classes are supposed to be passable, when only 30% pass there is something wrong! College Algebra should not be easier than Math 71 (intermediate Algebra)!
3. Comunity college is a grat deal even though there financial aide lady is nasty.
4. I don't know if they specialize in anything, but they have a great GE program, and there Teacher Prep Institute is wonderful.
5. Caring professors make this college special!
PROS: Great caring professors, a great Teacher Prep Institute, Great GE program, transfer to any university!
CONS: Math department.
