I first visited avancea with a botched blonde highlight, luckily it was VERY easy to get a fast appointment only the day after i called. After reading good reviews i decided to see STEPHANIE the salon ower who masters in corrective coloring! My hair was finally back to normal and i was so pleased with the results :) Later on that night (on my date <3) my boyfriend couldnt stop kissing me because he said i smelled like strawberries. It wasnt until later on the next day when i styled my hair with my new product that Stephanie recommended i realized it smelled like strawberries! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SALON AFTER YEARS OF TRYING TO FIND A GOOD HAIR DRESSER IM FINALLY HAPPY :) Pros: Extremely friendly and professional

I used to never have a regular hairdresser, so I just went from salon to salon randomly. However, when I went to Avancea for the first time, I had found my new hair salon. They have done updos for proms and regular haircuts, and I always come out very satisfied. I am now a regular customer and look forward to getting my hair done. The friendly atmosphere and exceptional cut are very much worth a trip to Avancea salon. Pros: Easy to find, friendly atmosphere, and skilled hairdressers

I have always had a hard time finding someone that could give me a hair cut that I liked. Well when I met Stephanie back in 2002/2003 when she was working in Stoneham had finally found the hair stylist that I had been looking for. When I went for my first hair cut with her I felt completly comfortable and trusted her right away, when she asked what I was looking for I told her to do what she thought might work for best for me. And let me tell you it was the best hair cut I had ever had. I have been going to her ever since. I love going to her salon everyone there is friendly and professional. I will never go anywhere else. I consider Stephanie not only the best stylist but a good friend.

I have followed Steph for years. Since I met her in 2002 I have not let anyone else touch my hair. My hair is curly, and very few people know how to cut it- I either end up with a cut that makes me look like a tent or I end up with an huge ball of frizz. She also cuts my mom's hair and my best friend's hair (both pin straight). And when I need my hair done up for a special occasion I let her do what she wants, and it is always amazing. At this point I have converted everyone in my family and most of my friends in the area to go to Avancea.

I have followed Stephanie for over 5 years, and have traveled from Swampscott to Wakefield every week since she opened her own salon back in 2005. She has kept her clients throughout the years and there is reason for that. When you find someone who does your hair the way you like it, you stick with them. I am so proud of what she has accomplished in opening her own salon. To me, it is well worth the travel, even with kids in tow! Her salon keeps me coming back because of their professional service and friendly, clean environment. Her expertise in hair coloring is always individualized to her clients needs, and all of the staff there keeps up to date with the latest hair care products and styles. My 5 year old son gets his hair cut by Cassandra and gets so excited to go and wear their sea creature cape, he truely loves going to get a buzz cut! I highly recommend this salon, you won't be disappointed!

I was devastated when my last hairdresser had to move away however it turned out to be the best thing ever!! I now have the BEST hairdresser EVER right at the end of my street. I was most nervous to have someone new expressing themselves on my hair, however she sat me down, talked about what I wanted and she made me look better than I could have ever imagined. She was quick, efficient, and did an excellent job! Her prices are more than fair to compensate for her experience and knowledge. The salon is beautiful and all remodeled, looks great! If you're looking for a reasonably priced haircut that will make you look gorgeous, go to Avancea and ask for Steph! Pros: the whole experience is AWESOME!! just do it!! Cons: none
