I had a birthday cake made there. Everyone who tasted it at the party wanted the address - it was sooo good! They make it to the order for that day, so it's as fresh as it could be. The lemon and raspberry mouse was the best! I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

I found out about Just Desserts when I was dining at Stearns and Hill's Bistro in Melrose with friends. We ordered a heavenly Chocolate mousse cake that was TO DIE FOR! When we asked the waitress who supplied their desserts she informed us that is was Just Desserts in Wakefield. I had a birthday in the family coming up soon so I called to inquire about my choices. The woman I spoke with on the phone was very helpful, and not bothered by my lack of ability to decide which one of their yummy cakes to get. AND they we able to customize it by doing a rain forest theme on the cake. The cake was a huge hit! I had people tell me that they don't usually eat cake but they had TWO pieces of this one! What a gold mine I have found! Not only do they make fabulous cakes they also have a Reese's Peanut Butter Cheesecake that is amazing. And I have called and gotten a cake made the same day I ordered it, they just needed 2-3 hours notice. I tell everyone about this place because I have NEVER been disappointed with anything they have done for me.Their hours are a little short (Tues. thru Sat. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m) but they will sometimes arrange an earlier or later pick-up. Plus they DELIVER at a nominal charge. If you call, they will mail or fax a menu to you. They don't have a website but the owner told me that she is working on setting one up.

If you're searching for the best cake around, look no further. Just Desserts is located on Albion Street in Wakefield. It is easy to miss, as it is a small shop. They are an order-only shop, that is to say that there are no pre-made cakes for you to stop in and buy. The good news is that she only needs a couple of days for your order. We used this shop for our wedding cake, and it was unbelievable. We had yellow cake with raspberry mousse filling and butter cream frosting. Incredible! She even did the basket weave design on it for no extra charge. We have gone back to this shop for other special occasion cakes, including baptism and anniversary cakes, both included beautiful fresh flowers on it. We have gotten rave reviews about both the design and the taste of the cakes! I can't recommend this shop more...you'll never go anywhere else if you try it!
