DONT go to the royal island kitchen resturant next to gionottos in the food court. i ordered battered fish for my partner and bbq mix plate for myself. Both our food came out and had to return the battered fish. It came out mushy and slimy.Told the girl that helped me and she said its not mushy so I ordered fried fish. Waited about 15 mins and while im waiting i didnt touch my food because I wanted me and my partner to eat at the same time. So we waited and about 15 mins went by. She called me up to the counter. I went up and Come to find out the whole time we was waiting they ended up making another batch of battered fish instead of the fried fish. the girl said ""look! not mushy"" n i had to show her again dat it IS mushy and that my partner Dont want the battered fish she wants the fried fish. So she went back into the kitchen PISSSSSSSSSSED OFF! Waited 10mins and fried fish came out and by now my food is cold and my bbq mix plate had cold white fat but i didnt complain. I just ate it. 2nd to the last bite while my partner was eating her food she noticed something long and black with a white tip I looked and guess what? It was HAIR. Went up to the worker nicely and told her ""I just wanted to let you know that my partner had a hair in her food"". I didnt even want my money back I just wanted to let her know and just carry on with my day. I wasnt mad or upset just alil disappointed because I wanted to take my partner somewhere to eat n celebrate a accomplishment my partner had. So I went up to the chinese girl that helped me and the chinese man that was the cook and said with a smile on my face and told them I had hair in my food so they started to flip out on me..!! They went crazy and was yelling things in chinese to me. I cant imagine what they were saying to me. So she yelled and said ""My food no mushy you lie! I give you money, you no come here no mo!"" I said ""I dont want your money, I just wanted to let you know there was hair in my food"". She pounds on her register opens the drawer all frantically and throws money at me and says "" Here you want money!"" That got me upset. i felt disrespected and threatened. She even called me a liar so i put my foot down. I had enough and raised my voice and said "" why was there hair in my food?!"" In a chinese accent she yelled ""You have hair in food cuz dey no clean grill!!!"" n i said so your telling me theres hair in my food because you guys dont clean the grill and she said YES! n she said u no come here no mo.\r
I went to sit down in the food court and the crazy lady comes yelling and saying she gave me too much money give me money back!"" So i gave it and left.\r
There were other people around eat at other resturants in the food court and I apoligized to them because there were children around when this was happening. They said ""its ok dont be sorry. Thats why they dont eat at royal island drive inn.\r
So ever since then i have never gone back. I would see the people i got into a argument with at royals out in stores and they give me the deadliest eyes ever like they want to do something bad to me. I RECOMMEND YOU PEOPLE TO NOT! TO EAT HERE!
