Editorial review from Citysearch 7/10/2012

DO NOT GO TO THIS PRACTICE. If you already go to this practice, LEAVE. They are going to malpractice themselves. They have too many patients and not enough doctors or staff. It is dangerous. I've never been so mistreated by a physician's office in all of my life. more

Paula the Nurse Practitioner is Rude! 7/8/2011

My appointment was scheduled for 1:45 p.m. and I arrived at 1:20 p.m. The nurse practitioner did not come in until 2:20 p.m. When she finallly came in, she was rude, nasty, unhelpful and unconcerned about my issue. She rushed me out of the office without properly assisting me. The receptionist was more helpful than Paula. I WILL NEVER RETURN THERE! She needs some people skills. more

Bad Experience 3/28/2011

Wish I read these reviews before I made this practice my doctors. My first two visits were really great. I had the Midwife who was super nice and patient with me, as this is my first pregnancy. My most recent visit was with the Dr. that has light blonde hair. I had the worst 4min appointment ever. She was condescending and rude. I had a few questions written down and she said well read the papers we gave you when you first came. She wouldn't answer any questions. Its hard when you are dealing with a first time pregnancy and bleeding. my appointment was for bleeding and she didn't even check my she just said your fine. Now i am being rushed in for an ultra sound because the bleeding hasn't stopped. Just upsetting. I didn't mind the long wait and even the rude women at the front desk that deals with insurance that walks with a cane. But have a doctor not even touch my stomach or talk to me at my appointment is horrible. I had to pay $215 for a 4min appointment. Worst time and doesn't help adding stress. They are supposed to eliminate stress, not create it for me. more

Good practice 3/23/2011

I have seen two of the doctors at this practice for years and they both took an ample amount of time with my examination and for any questions I may have had. Jane at the medical question line has always called back and been very helpful. I have always had test results in a timely fashion. I have recommended this practice to family and friends who have all been very satisfied. The wait can sometimes be long, but if a lot of women are waiting to see the doctors at this practice, isn't that a good thing? Waits are long at any doctors office I have ever visited in the tri-state area; this one is not over the top with the wait. more

Prepare for the longest wait times on earth! 10/21/2010

Been a reg patient for about 3 years and thought it was a nice practice at first. After the extreme negligence that took place with the delivery of my first child (which I care not to detail) I should of known better but being a creature of habit continued to go since I was expecting again and didn't want to find another practice. So far its so so but my biggest complaint is the horrid wait times. I come ON TIME and still wait a minimum of an hour. Currently as I am typing, I've already spent an hour and 15min in the waiting room and so far 10 addtl mins and counting waiting for the Dr. to come in, just for a regular monthly 3min prenatal visit! Definately would not recommend them to anyone who has a life. more

FIND ANOTHER PLACE!!! 8/31/2010

I went to this place for the fist time when my other obgyn didn't accept my insurance anymore. I went there to get an IUD in after my second child. They told me to take 4 motrin tabs to help with the pain of insertion of IUD. My appt was at 10am, I did not actually see the doctor until 2:20pm!!! Then while in with the doctor she had trouble seeing to get the IUD in, and goes to get help....meanwhile I'm in sterupps half naked and she LEAVES THE DOOR WIDE OPEN!!!! Then while I'm still in sterupps, they try to put a pillow underneath my bottom so they could see better.....they could have at least took the sterupps out of me! Then she put the IUD in and it hurt because the meds that they told me to take had worn off in the waiting room. I went to another obgyn 'cause I was having problems with the IUD, and they said it looks like it's in wrong...after they gave me ultrasounds. This place does not care about their patients, and they think that just because your poor that your stupid. I will never go back here again!!! more

Took time to listen 7/11/2010

I had a great experience with this practice. Very nice group of women who took time to listen to me. sometimes had to wait almost an hour for visit, but worth waiting for. Pros: Great Doctors Cons: sometimes long wait more

A wonderful compassionate physician 6/2/2010

I just wanted to share with you the wonderful experience I had with the birth of my daughter. I was a high risk pregnancy with many medical issues and thank god everyday that these doctors were there to help me deliver my beautiful healthy baby. My husband and I were so frightened when we arrived in Labor and Dr. D'Elia was there to put us at ease. She addressed all our concerns and was with us during a very long difficult delivery. She made us feel very comfortable and confident we were in good hands. All of the doctors were very understanding and informative during our prenatal visits and took great care of us. Pros: patient , understanding and highly skilled more

FIND ANOTHER PRACTICE 5/27/2010

I am leaving this practice after being dismissed on several occasions. This practice does not know how to handle its large volume of patients. You have to wait for over an hour in the waiting room and then almost an hour in the exam room...and no one has ever said sorry to keep you waiting. I was always just the next patient, like you are a number. Each time I went in the MD never asked about my nausea that I was suffering from during my pregnancy. She would just say oh, how are things going and I would have to say I am feeling terrbile with all the nausea and she would ask when this started. She obviously never read my chart. Then I went in and said I think I am in labor and they checked me and said no you are not becasue your contractions are not 5 minutes apart. Well not everyone fits into the text book version of labor. So 30 minutes later my water brook and I delivered my daughter with my contractions NEVER being 5 minutes apart. The last one was I was trying to get pregnant for almost a year I went in and said I think something is wrong, they dismissed me and said I am just missing it. Well the next month I went to a fertility specialist and he ran some tests and I WAS NOT OVULATING! So that is it I am leaving, I am tired of being a number. Pros: Experience Cons: Too many to list more

Very disappointed and upset 5/20/2010

Unfortunetly my story is too long. The short version is this. I had preclampsia with my first pregnancy. All warning signs were over looked! I was told it's ""normal pregancy swelling"", your headaches are from ""hormones"", ""lay on your left side and your blood pressure will go down."" I ended up going into labor with blood pressure of 210/110 and was put on magnesium. I had high blood pressure for 10 months after that. I was stupid to go back for care with what is now my second pregnancy. I ignored everyone telling me not to. I really thought that this time, I would really be taken care of! Today I went in and waited and hour and a half and after that the Dr. didn't even know what was in my file! and told me that I never had pre-eclampsia! I had to stand there and defend what I had. She still tried to belittle what I went through. She told me had a six week post pardom visit after...which I never had? She told me so many things that just weren't acceptable! I wish I had read these reviews earlier. I feel very sad that I trusted them a second time around. I told her I couldn't believe that I just waited an hour and a half to see a Dr. who has never read my file. And it wouldn't have mattered becuase there's hardly anything legitimate in there anyway! I have requested my medical records asap! I have been recommended to Dr. Donald Cannon by a friend. I don't care how far I have to go for good care this time! Please take these comments very seriously when thinking about your own care! Look at how many women have shared their story with you and understand that it is not just you going in there for care it is your baby in there too! and you have to defend that care and protect that child. Be proactive and listen to others experiences. Pros: Me and my son made it through the storm Cons: so many more

Dr. Wendy Martinez is unethical 5/19/2010

This is long overdue and happened in 2000 when I had my son. Wendy Martinez admitted that she was sexually attracted to me while I was in labor with my daughter and once my son was born, she proceeded to get me to sleep with her. Come on she said, you're not going to chicken out on me are you? I had been in a relationship with a woman for 11 years and she legally adopted my biological children. Wendy aided in destroying my relationship as well as a few others, I've learned about along my discovery over the years. She is truely a Dr. out for her own needs and I should have taken her before the medical board for being unethical, having sex with some of her women patients. Wendy, I am a firm believer that you will have your day and this will catch up to you. You should not be allowed to practice obstectrics anymore. Pros: preys on weak couples Cons: IS A SEX PREDITOR more

What Happened Here? 4/20/2010

Accompanied spouse to first appointment of the afternoon. Waiting room was packed. We had arrived early, and were given a tablet for registration, although she has been a patient for years. Very hard to use, and we are both computer savvy.\r \r Waited for 90 minutes in the waiting room. Then another 45 minutes in the exam room. Spouse mentioned appt time to NP, who said, ""We are short staffed. Are you having a baby today?"". I replied that we were not responsible for the staffing of the practice.\r \r The rest of the visit was frosty. I wonder where these folks go for their exams; certianly not here. Pros: History Cons: Long waits for Dr appt, long waits in waiting room, flippant more

Best Doctors 12/14/2009

I read the previous reviews and had to comment. I don't know what you women are talking about, but many of my family members and myself have been patients there for 10 years. I find the staff to be very friendly and cooperative, and the doctors outstanding. I had a serious problem with my second pregnancy and if it wasn't for the care and attention that these doctors provided my son wouldn't be alive today. Pros: Excellent Medical care Cons: sometimes long waits more

Horrible service 12/1/2009

I've been trying to get my records to leave and I can't even do that. I call the dumb girl in medical records Tina and leave her a message because of course no one answers the phone! Tina the girl in the office doesn't call back I guess only if she feels like it. I hate this place nothing good to say about them. The Doctors are another horrible story. Pros: nothing good to say Cons: They never call you back can't get a hold of anyone to talk more

Nothing good about this group 11/10/2009

Just one thing you need to know the women who work here suck at what they do. Cons: Alot of drawbacks to many more

Low expectations 11/10/2009

Was a patient but I'm never going back there. They make you wait after you had a serious surgery for hours and days on what to do next, I would give them a negative zero if I could. Pros: non Cons: Long waiting and horrible uncaring drs more

ignorant staff 11/10/2009

Wendy Martinez and her ignorant staff can all go to hell the way they treat they patients. I'm no longer a patient after they diagnosed my pap test as being fine. They all are stupid and uncaring people if you can call them people. They don't care only about them selfs. Pros: ? Cons: Nothing nice to say more

Nasty doctors 11/10/2009

I hated being a patient with the womens group. The doctors there were so uncaring and bad service. They want money thats it. They will treat you like a number. And belive me you will wait in the waiting room for hours. There attiude is horrible they don't want to work in the office. Cons: Uncaring doctors more

Bad Nurse and doctors 11/10/2009

I don't think anyone should go here they don't know what there doing. You never get any result call backs you have to call and call them. Sometimes you might get someone who knows what there talking about. No communacation what so ever. And to top it you will wait hours to get in a room then wait hours in the room and then you will see the doctor who does not care for 10 mins if your lucky because there rushing more patients more $$$$$$$$$. Pros: N/A Cons: Dumb staff and long waiting more

Uncaring nurses and doctors 11/10/2009

I would never recommend going to this women's group of clowns. They don't care about you and you will see after a while they treat you like a number not a person. They only want money. They don't care about you and your feelings at all. I hope they get treated like they treat there patients like sh**t!!! Pros: Zero Cons: horrible doctors and staff a bunch of clowns more
