Dirty Dick's is the best seafood restaurant in the South Hampton Roads area! The crabs are, of course, the specialty and are to die for, but pretty much everything on the menu is fantastic ... any of the fried fish is wonderful. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the food comes quickly. The prices are a bit high, but considering the wonderful food and great atmosphere, Dick's is well worth the price. If you're looking for good seafood, this is the place to find it!

This little tavern was located about 2 blocks from out old apartment. We LOVED walking up to eat here. Partly because we could try all the martinis and not worry about driving (they have an extensive list) and also because the food is really good and filling. They have this one appetizer, that is a spinach con queso dip that also has portuguese sausage mixed in. It is heavenly. There have been times we've gone and just ordered 2 or 3 servings of that and nothing else.
The rest of their food is also good. Try the rigatoni if they have it when you go.
It always seems to look like it just opened. I've never seen more than 5 or 6 tables of people in there, but we've also never been there after 7:00 either, which I'm sure they pick up after that.
Parking is across the street and it's a good pedestrian area so walking over is no problem. Their prices are fair and their waitstaff were phenomenal, very on the ball.
I hope we move back to this area so we can go here again, or I hope it is a chain (not sure if it is or not) so that I may run into another location.

Very trendy variety of juniors to plus size clothes. The great thing is they now sell maternity clothes. And plus size maternity clothes. A great deal on everything. The staff are willing to help you out and it's a very clean store. The dressing rooms were kind of small, but everything else is great and they plenty of parking.

I danced here like I haven't danced in ages and had a blast - but seriously - what's up with the girls who stand against the DJ Booth to have guys gather behind them and grind - I am not from the area - but is this a local custom? I did not run into this at other area establishments.

I know the owner of Visions. She is a very close friend of ours and she will give you the best hairstyle ever. She doesn't just cut your hair and send you on your way. She takes her time and getting to know what you want for a hairstyle and does it perfectly. Everyone in the shop is great. They also offer tanning and nails and waxing. Highly recommended.

If I could upload pictures you would understand. This is absolutely gorgeous. You can walk or bike the extensive miles of this park. You will go along the beach area and the back waters. I swear, that this place is one of my favorite places to go for the mere fact that it is one of the few untouched places in Virginia Beach. This is the one place that you absolutely are one with the ocean. If you are lucky, which we always are, you will even see the wild horses that live in the refuge.
I would not say this is a negative, because you can imagine this, but take plenty of bug spray because it is a moist area.
