We LOVE this store. My husband is an avid golfer and buys all of his golf needs from Golf Galaxy. They have everything one could want. And the staff go out of there way to help you out. Highly recommended . They also have a great place to practice swinging and a proffesional teacher to help you out with your game

This is a great place to go for all your surfing, skating and beach needs. They have a large selection of athletic equipment and clothing, and the prices are fairly reasonable. The 17th Street Surf Shop is THE place to shop for anything surfing or beach related in Virginia Beach ... they're practically a local legend and have it ALL! They sell high quality surfing brands, unlike a lot of the other "surf" shops in the area. If you need anything for your trip to the beach, whether it be a bathing suit or a surfboard, go here!

This bike store is in the Red Mill Commons Shopping Center, and quite a distance from where I live. However, when I was bike shopping, I made it out there a couple times a month, because I liked the store so much. They have almost all the basics a rider needs, as well as local rides, for the novice rider and A + pace guys, and teams for special events like the Tour de Cure. Their prices are great and they carry the Airborne titatnium bike deal for military guys. Their only flaw, is that they carry certain lines, and couldn't find a bike to sell me in my price range.
PROS: great staff and services
CONS: couldn't get the bike I wanted..

Bobick's golf is awesome, especially when they have sales, because you can get Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren polo shirts at very cheap prices, not to mention the entire stock of golfing equipment. The store is very big (the Virginia Beach location) and they have a lot to offer. The staff is very friendly and helpful, so I would recommend this place especially if they have a sale, otherwise the prices are about average, usually a bit cheaper than sports authority or dick's sporting goods.

Being a Tennis specialty store you would expect to get many tennis items you would not find at Sports Authority or Dick's, and they do not disappoint in that regard. They have many items that will help aid the game of a beginner to as they put it "touring professionals". This place has very fast stringing service too (the service I have used mainly). They usually strung my racquet on the spot, rather than dropping your racquet off at Sports Authority and Dick's. So if you want your racquets done right away go here!

You can find absolutely everything you need for sports at this store. They have everything from little league to major league. I would recommend this store to anyone in need of sporting goods. But if you are looking for something regular then you would probably find it cheaper at a Target or Walmart.

I wasn't highly impressed with Motor World. Granted they did have a few things for the kids to do, go cart racing, and even bungee type jumping, I did find this park to be overpriced. I just felt for the amount of time they actually were on the rides, that the prices should be a little cheaper. I do think this is a tourist trap and not really geared a lot for the locals.
But for those who have the money (lol) it does have numerous go cart tracks, a neat bumper boat ride, and a mini golf course.
