This is a great place to go for all your surfing, skating and beach needs. They have a large selection of athletic equipment and clothing, and the prices are fairly reasonable. The 17th Street Surf Shop is THE place to shop for anything surfing or beach related in Virginia Beach ... they're practically a local legend and have it ALL! They sell high quality surfing brands, unlike a lot of the other "surf" shops in the area. If you need anything for your trip to the beach, whether it be a bathing suit or a surfboard, go here!

When I moved here I shopped at many galleries and shops to decorate my home. I found Rick's shop to be tremendous. I was able to find many types of art at great prices. It was a little expensive, but price is only a concern when value is absent. I definitely felt that I got a good value on my purchases. My home is now filled with art from this shop and various others, but I am most pleased with the items I found at Rick's!

Never use this company for your vending services, Items are stale, and or out of date, If the vending machine breaks down, it takes 3 weeks before they fix the problem, and the staff doesnt care about resolving these problems

Being a sports cards enthusiast, you naturally know all the good places to get cards. B & B is one of those places. They always have the newest cards at fair prices, plus a lot of rare old singles for sale if you are interested in old rookie cards of many legends of baseball, basketball, and football. The only downside if any is that the owners smoke in their store, and it smells sometimes.

If I could upload pictures you would understand. This is absolutely gorgeous. You can walk or bike the extensive miles of this park. You will go along the beach area and the back waters. I swear, that this place is one of my favorite places to go for the mere fact that it is one of the few untouched places in Virginia Beach. This is the one place that you absolutely are one with the ocean. If you are lucky, which we always are, you will even see the wild horses that live in the refuge.
I would not say this is a negative, because you can imagine this, but take plenty of bug spray because it is a moist area.

Bobick's golf is awesome, especially when they have sales, because you can get Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren polo shirts at very cheap prices, not to mention the entire stock of golfing equipment. The store is very big (the Virginia Beach location) and they have a lot to offer. The staff is very friendly and helpful, so I would recommend this place especially if they have a sale, otherwise the prices are about average, usually a bit cheaper than sports authority or dick's sporting goods.

Bubba's Crabhouse is a nice and casual restaurant on the shore in Virginia Beach. Looking more like a house than a dining establishment, Bubba's makes patrons feel right at home in their clean but laid back environment.
Specialties of the house include anything crab- from cakes to fried legs. They also have a nice selection of dishes with chicken and steak for those of us that are not fans of creatures of the sea. The only negative thing I could say about this restaurant is that they lack a vegetarian entree- but I guess most patrons would expect that.
Situated right on the water, boats pull right up to the tables on the outside dock/deck. It is especially nice to eat outside on warm summer evenings.

City View Park is a large park located near Centerville Turnpike. It include 4 softball fields to play on or have tournaments, 1 large field for other play, two playgrounds for the different age groups, picnic shelters, basketball courts, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, walking trails, restrooms and concessions.
There are many trees to shade the area and the playgrounds are well loved as it has many different things to child on and crawl through. My son always has a good time when we visit this park playing horseshoe and climbing around!

You can find absolutely everything you need for sports at this store. They have everything from little league to major league. I would recommend this store to anyone in need of sporting goods. But if you are looking for something regular then you would probably find it cheaper at a Target or Walmart.
