We walked about 10 blocks in either direction from our hotel looking for a good place to eat (no hurry).Decided to give this place a try.Inside was nice but not really fancy and there wasnt many people there on a Sat night .Bear in mind though this is Feb,but other nearby resturants had more people in them. I guess parking would be a issue if you were not staying at the hotel or one nearby (like we were).
To be honest,I was getting a bit aprehensive about our choice....Untill the food arrived.
It was FANTASTIC!
Ever had food so GOOD your almost afraid to go back for fear of disapointment?
We will be back!
Pros: The food! Quick service,Quiet atmoshere.
Cons: Deco could be fancier/looks a bit dated. Parking

My husband, his best friend and I went there about a month ago for lunch. The place is big, fast service and the food is awesome. Everything we ordered was hot, fast and delicious. The chips and sauce are great. Try the jalepeno poppers they are really good.

I have been a resident of the Virginia Beach area for about six years and this is by far one of my favorite restaurants. I recommend it to friends and family when ever they ask me for a suggestion on where to dine. The food is always top notch. The service and ambiance is far above what you would expect to find in Virgina Beach. Even the bar area is a nice place to hang out or dine.

This is a great place to walk up and get a nice old fashioned style ice cream. They also carry specials for the seasons. In October they have "pumpkin" ice cream which is out of this world.
Pros: Great ice cream, free samples
Cons: Can be busy at peak times

Pollards is by far the best chicken in the country. I am sorry that one unhappy customer, who was obviously pmsing, chose to post a negative comment. Yes customer service is important, if you don't like the response you hear then ask for the manager or the owner. I am sure that they would be glad to speak with you. It is their business, and they want to know if someone, who they pay to represent them, has upset a customer.
My family almost always uses Pollards to cater our family get togethers.
PROS: POLLARD'S - YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This buffet has a huge selection and a wonderfully beachy atmosphere. I think that Captain George's is the only seafood buffet of this caliber in the Hampton Rds area.
The only con is that you won't have enough room to try everything.

We loved Rudee's! They're right on the water, so the location is great for relaxing and soaking up the atmosphere - the food is out of this world! Their raw bar is the best if you like oysters - my husband, sister and brother in law shared the Longshoreman - more than enough food! Can't wait to go back!!!
