We recently took our car to Heritage Transmission for a look-over, as it was having some problems with shifting gears. They ended up estimating the repairs at $1500-2000, which seemed to be about average ... however, we had a coupon for another place, so we went there instead. There was no charge for the estimate, though, which was nice, and the staff was friendly and helpful. If I hadn't had the coupon, I definitely would have taken the car to Heritage. However, I do think that if you're going to have a sign outside your store that's bound to insult part of the population (ultra patriotic "go back to where you came from" mumbo jumbo), you should at least spell all the words on it right ... ha ha.
