If you love foundue, then there's no better than the Melting Pot. Talk about lots of fondue and good fondue too. My all time favorites are the cheese fondue and of course the dessert course which is the chocolate fondue. They have some really tasty pairings here. I thikn this place serves two great purposes. One, you can come here with a huge group and everybody can share and have fun. Or else come with a date for a fun, intimate sort of activity. Either way, this place is tons of fun!

The Melting Pot isn't your usual restaurant, so if you're looking for a steak and potatoes, keep moving. However, if you enjoy savoring flavor pairings with a good bottle of wine, you've hit the jackpot. My wife and I have visited this Melting Pot on several occasions and have found that the way to go is to order a cheese fondue and dessert. The meat fondues are delicious, but there's no comparison in quality/taste of the dessert. If you like gorgonzola, order the Wisconsin trio cheese fondue (heavenly) and ask your waiter for a suggestion on dessert. We had a dark chocolate fondue with amaretto swirled in, and it was unbelievable. Don't be in a hurry, don't expect a bargain, and do make reservations!

The Melting Pot is not your run-of-the-mill date restaurant. Prepare to astound your loved one with delicious food, a romantic atmosphere, and an impressive wine list. This restaurant, which looks suspiciously like it took over an old Pizza Hut building, features dark, wooden accents with dim lighting, and romantic niches-- not for the claustrophobic! Wait staff is knowledgeable and just distanced enough to be helpful but not always bothering you. I'd suggest skipping the entrée course, and instead ordering an appetizer (Wisconsin trio) and dessert. Ask your server for suggestions-- ours concocted a heavenly creation for our dessert at our request. They often don't take reservations for just dessert (and you NEED reservations) so this is a sneaky way around having to drop $200 on a dinner for two and being able to fit in dessert.

This place is truly a extraordinary dinning experience. Nice relaxed atmosphere with private tables. Its a nice fun evening for all. They have from specialty drinks, to chocolate fondue, cheese fondue, and great salads. You need to try their cheese fondue, its great, but must also leave room the chocolate fondue, you get to pick which chocolate you want. The food is great here.! What I didn't like tho, is no refills on the coffee. Their coffee is great, but you only great one cup. Its a nice to place to go, but a little pricey.
