I had the pleasure of meeting Mary Jo almost one year ago...and it was the most pleasant experience ever. She treats you like family whether its the first time you meet or not. The staff is friendly...fast...and courteous. I have had the pleasure of Dining there on quite a few occasions, primarily because the Food & Servings are... HUGE...DELICIOUS & OUT OF THIS WORLD !! I'm also one of the Entertainers on Tuesday Nights which happens to be "STARS ON STAGE"...It features some of the Finest entertainers in the Northwest Suburbs hands down !!...I would recommend Capri Classic Italian Restaurant to all my friends & family. As a matter of fact, Im going to be there this weekend....October 10th 2009.... for their 1st Year Anniversary....I would Love to see you all there !!! CIAO BELLA !!!!! Pros: The Food !!!!! You can walk in and feel at home once you are greeted by MaryJo or John. How the waiter's remember the food orders without a screw up is amazing. The Calamari Alla'Capri is always fresh lightly breaded and made to order. Never gummy unlike some of the competition (puke). Braicole' and Beef Neck bone sauce just like Mama use to make tender! From the Chilian Sea Bass to the Eight Finger Cavitelli in Johnny's Famous Vodka Sauce; smooth, hot in tempature and the taste buds just die for it. Always a smiling face behind the bar and many in the room. Entertaiment is always a treat. On the light side you have have to try the MaryJo Special; Grilled Calamari with grilled vegtables. The produce is always fresh because it is hand picked and delivered by Amabile and Sons daily. Pros: Service, Price, Friendly and Entertaining Cons: The surrounding fake Italian Restaurants!

Food is like music, it touches your memory buttons! When you hear a song from when times were easier, they mean so much to make you feel great inside! When you find food that is so delicious and plentiful, you remember when you were young and when your mother or grand mother used to make those special meals made with love! Quality ingredients and no short cuts! That's what I got from eating at Capri! Great portions, wonderful service, welcoming comfortable atmosphere, clean and very nice people who you can tell they really care that your satisfied! I wish more places were like Capri! I had a VERY special party for some very special people in my life and Capri made it PERFECT! A GREAT place for entertainment too! Fantastic quality businesses should be supported so they can be around for a very long time! Pros: Just like Grandma used to make! Cons: I don't get to go there as much as I would like!

It doesn't matter how often you go to the Capri, it doesn't matter what you order or how much you spend, you are greeted and treated like one of the Rovito or Grande families. Johnny has a special place in my heart for we never went to any of his wonderful restaurants without his hugs hello, coming to the table to let us know what was "special" or what he could do that wasn't on the menu to make our dinners memorable. My husband Paul loved going to the Capri (had many business dinners there) and loved Johnny because he said he always felt "respected". He loved "his" 3 cheese gnocchi and whether it was on the menu or not, he was sure to have it at least 2 out of 4 times he was there. (Not if you go, but, when you go to the Capri---you just have to try it). And Paul was so right, he was respected by Johnny, for the night of Paul's wake, in walked Johnny with his beautiful wife Michelle and he put a Capri business card in Paul's pocket. Johnny should know that Paul brought 2 cards with him to heaven, the other was the first one in his wallet. Please do not listen to any negative reviews, try the Capri for yourself, they will do everything to please their customers. And you won't ever be disappointed. My wife and I were on our way home and were running late so we wanted to just stop somewhere nice to get something to eat. When we walked in the aroma was heavenly. We were greeted with smiles and shown to a table immediately. Our waitor was courteous and .helpful. We never were in want of anything. The food was out of this world. By far the best Italian food my wife and I have ever had. Very reasonably priced and generous portions It is obvious that everyone at Capri takes great pride in what they do and it shows in the attention to every detail from the moment we walked in till we left the restaurant. Excellent! Pros: Best Italian food around. Cons: We wish it was closer to our home.

The first time we dined at Capri we ordered a appetizer special that was out of this world! When we came back on another visit, the special was no longer on the menu, but the chef made our "special request" and it was outstanding. The staff is wonderful and owners Mary Jo and John both go out of their way to greet the customers and make sure that your dining experience will be one that makes you come back for more. Drink prices were really very low compared to other venues that we have been to. I was really quite surprised when we got the bill and commented to everyone how much food we got for a very reasonable price. Be prepared to take home lots of leftovers! They also have great entertainment in the bar area- so plan on sticking around after dinner and enjoying a dance or two. This is a great place to eat, drink and dance the night away! Pros: Best drink prices I've seen in a long time!

Your right we are not Gibsons, we are not a steak house....we specialize in Southern Italian Cuisine and Seafood. I challenge you to go anywhere else in the Oakbrook area and see how much the cocktails are, you will find we are very fairly priced and give a very generous pour. It is amazing that people tell us everyday that they have eaten all over the world and our food is outstanding, some of the best that they have ever eaten. To say that you were rapped is an insult and a lie, you put words into writing to discredit our establishment...however you said nothing to us while you were there....do you work for the competition? I work very hard and have devoted my life to my business and you sir are nothing more than a restaurants worst nightmare. Anyone who knows us also knows that we would have bent over backwards to serve you something else that you might have enjoyed better. Please keep in mind for your next Great Friday lunch that there is a Quiznos right next door to us they run $5.00 sandwich specials...no Vodka but it will save you some money and it might be more like what you are use to. $44 for lunch, I had 2 drinks (bar vodka) angel hair pasta with meat sauce and a meat ball with 20% tip it was $44 dollars. What a ripeoff and the meat sauce was terrible. Imagine $44 dollars for pasta and a couple of drinks, when I walked out of their I know I was rapped. The server at the bar was ok, but this place is not Gibsons, $44 dollars for lunch I drank bar vodka. I would not go back there if it were free. My Great Friday lunch on 7/10/09. Pros: Nothing Cons: Bad food
