You can walk in and feel at home once you are greeted by MaryJo or John. How the waiter's remember the food orders without a screw up is amazing.
The Calamari Alla'Capri is always fresh lightly breaded and made to order. Never gummy unlike some of the competition (puke). Braicole' and Beef Neck bone sauce just like Mama use to make tender!
From the Chilian Sea Bass to the Eight Finger Cavitelli in Johnny's Famous Vodka Sauce; smooth, hot in tempature and the taste buds just die for it. Always a smiling face behind the bar and many in the room. Entertaiment is always a treat. On the light side you have have to try the MaryJo Special; Grilled Calamari with grilled vegtables. The produce is always fresh because it is hand picked and delivered by Amabile and Sons daily.
Pros: Service, Price, Friendly and Entertaining
Cons: The surrounding fake Italian Restaurants!

This great place has great food and great people. There is always a familiar face, a game on the TV, good music and laughs. Don't know where to go? Try Caps! The burgers are half pounders and you can get them with almost whatever you want. Blue Cheese? Green Olives? Bacon? Jalapenos? Yep...they got it! The ribs are the best in the area. Stop in and try a Loaded Mini...I'm not even gonna try and explain...go in and ask Carol. She is the manager and rocks at this little neighborhood Cheers. You will not be disappointed.

This place is by far my new favorite restaurant to go for breakfast. Brunch is my favorite meal to eat out. I drive to the city for just the right breakfast atmosphere I'm looking for, which is fun, cool and hip. This place has it! It is absolutely adorable! Aside from the decor though, the food is out of this world! It is the most eclectic breakfast menu I've ever seen.
I have only been there once so I can only recommend a few things, but I'll tell you, I plan on eating everything on the menu. I'm the type of person who needs something savory...and something sweet with each meal so I was happy that I was able to upgrade to all the mouth-watering "eggstasy" items. I ordered the Dali's omelette, which has chorizo sausage, jalapeno peppers, onions and queso. This was probably one of the best omelettes I've ever had, if not the best. For my upgrade, I chose the banana nutella crepes. Oh...My...Gosh!! These were heavenly!! Everything was just the right texture.
I'm excited to start checking off the menu each thing I try. Needless to say, I am now a self-proclaimed regular at Eggstasy, where the decor is perfect, the food is phenomenal...and oh yeah I forgot to mention, the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. I highly recommend bringing in your friends and family to this upscale breakfast spot.
Pros: Delicious Food, Attentive Staff, and Gorgeous Decor
Cons: What are the drawbacks?

I was there recently with friends for my birthday and I think it was a great value. I've been coming here since before the ownership change (three years ago) and I think the new owner has made everything better. The steaks were better than I've had at Morton's or Gibsons and were priced below what I've paid at other places. When you compare Vic's to the chains in the Oakbrook area they come out on top: great food, great drinks and comfortable atmosphere. (If Sarrahsarrah999 says the food is too salty, she probably put too much of the imported romano cheese on her food. Most people expect parmesean chesse on the table, but these people do it right with romano!)
Pros: Great food, strong drinks, friendly service
Cons: Dark bar

First you have to understand fondue- it is a unique way of cooking derived in France, focusing on bite size pieces of very fresh ingredients cooked to your liking by you right at the table. The process takes time that can be easily passed with conversation if you are here with someone who's company you enjoy. Enticing your partner with tasty bits at the end of a long fork and feeding each other always adds romance to your dinner... The flavor is unique, you're more likely to enjoy it if your favorite kind of meat is not bbq-smothered. I personally like the variety of meats offered by the main courses, as each has it's unique subtleties and I want to try them all. Traditional fondue is of course cheese or chocolate- the is were your appetizer and dessert will come in. Avoid the salad, (we didn't care for it either) get the shrimp cocktail instead. They have a beutiful waiting room and a romantic setting, and will not leave you feeling like a stuffed turkey afterwards... Must try it once, if only to know what it is! You may get hooked on it like we did, we come here for all of our romantic occasions.
Pros: Something to remember, light and creative, entrtaining waiting room
Cons: very crowded on prime time (Christmas, valentines), reserve weeks in advance!

Excellent seating - both open air and inside, friendly service and one of the best Mexican foods I have had in Chicago area. We went there yesterday on our realtor's recommendation to celebrate my f-i-l's birthday and we had a good time.
The food was very tasty and nice...We had the burrito especial and the tostadas - these were fantatic. The salsa and chips were also great.
Pros: Food, Ambience, Seating
