For many years I did body work and restorations of automobiles, now as a computer consultant I do work for The Wreck Room on their computers/network, over the years I have seen a ton of cars go through their shop and have always been very impressed with the quality of work I have seen. Friends that I have referred to Don Murphy at The Wreck Room have been very impressed with the work and pricing from them. My personal dealings with Don Murphy have always been impressive, he maintains a strong do it right the first time attitude with how he runs his business and repairs his customer cars. Recently I went to lunch with representatives from DuPont who work with Don and both Reps had nothing but GREAT things to say about Don and his whole staff. In a business that is difficult to please your customers (no one likes being without their car and everyone is concerned about getting their car back after a wreck) I have never seen an unhappy customer leave from the shop - This is truley a FIVE STAR SHOP ! ! ! My Guess is Blaine H is a competitor getting crushed by The Wreck Room and their quality work.

This is a great Harley Davdison store. Their selection of bikes isn't as big as I've seen elsewhere, but they also have casual clothing and leathers. I haven't bought a bike from here yet, but I do have my eye on one and I am saving now.

Parts City is THE place to go for your parts needs. Instead of the parts monkeys that the big chains hire, Parts City has people that actually KNOW their stuff! A lot of the older employees used to be at Forest City before TRAK auto took them over and destroyed that store (they have gotten the old Forest City logo now of Max - the long neck guy). Not only do they have knowledgeable people working there, but their prices are very good too. The only time I go elsewhere for parts, is if it's a Dealer Only part (and even then, they can get it for you).

I recently took my car to Merlin's Villa Park for an Emissions Repair. Not only did they get it fixed, they took it to the IL EPA Test station and had the PASS Certificate ready for me when I picked up the car.
Whoever wrote that review questioning Charlie's integrity has no clue what a great gut he is.

Villa park Napa is a good parts store. One thing is you go to napa online and search for the products you want ahead of time. This is a good idea so you can jot down the part #'s. Then go into the store and ask for what you need. This prevents them from accidently giving you a higher price item. The guy in there was about to give me spark plug wire set that was 20$ more than the one I knew they had because I checked. I dont think he did it on purpose, but still he's not scrutinizing his the computer to make sure I get the best deal.
Its a good store with prices that are pretty good. Theres tons of auto stores in this area, so it really depends on your car to see if this store is the best deal for you. Use internet take 5 minutes, do your homework so you know what to get,
how much it will cost and get in get out.
