Hancock Fabrics in Vienna has a wonderful selection of fabrics for just about anything you might need to make. They have a great children's section with wonderful whimsical prints and many licensed prints to choose from. They also have a wide variety of other fabrics and notions. The employees are friendly and knowledgable, and the store is always free of clutter. Parking is readily available. Their prices are great, and there are also frequent sales and specials.

The Orchids For You-Showroom is spectacular! Their selection of orchids is first class and the prices are reasonable. The staff seems to know what they are doing and are very friendly. The hardest part is trying to select just the right plant to take home. It's location is sometimes tricky to enter since it is located at the intersection of Chain Bridge and Beulah.

I went to JUD tile to look for some tiles for a small area. While I was not going to spend a lot on the initial order, I am renovating my home and was hoping to find a place that would work with me. The sales staff were 'helpful' in that they wanted to make a sale, but they really weren't helpful in picking out appropriate tile (except to point you in a general direction). Basically they were just not very friendly and since there are tons of tile places in the area, go to one with better customer service. Even Home Depot offered better customer service!

The Vienna quilt shop is a very good store to get stuffs like quilts, comforters bedding accessories etc. They have very cute things for babies, specially quilts for the infants, the fabrics are of very good quality. It is not a huge shop but they definitely have great collection. The staff is very friendly and helping.

Posh, Inc. is a very nice specialty gift shop. They have some of the most gorgeous frames, as well as ribbons, wreaths, soaps, and some larger items as well. There is plenty of parking and the staff is friendly. (I have been there a few times when two employees were talking between themselves while I was waiting for asome assistance). The biggest negative about the store is that it is very expensive. I bought one spool of ribbon to be used with wedding bouquets and it was over $33.00, which I thought was very expensive. It is a good place to go for a unique gift for someone, but be prepared to spend quite a bit of money.

My Florist/Exclusively Roses offers a wide selection of beautiful flowers at very reasonable prices, even during holidays and peak flower-giving dates! They offer good customer service as well, sending postcards to remind you of key upcoming dates (birthdays, anniversaries, etc) and coupons. The flowers themselves are georgeous, particularly the roses. It is not uncommon that we have had roses last for 7-10 days after purchasing them. They are truly magnificent! We highly recommend this florist!
