Billygans is a great restaurant. The staff is attentive and courteous, and the atmosphere is very casual. Like their full name denotes this is a roadhouse, complete with complimentary peanuts. When you're done shelling your peanuts you're encouraged to throw the shells on the floor. Needless to say, kids love this place.
The menu is your basic steak and potatoes, and there are also salads and hamburgers. Some of the prices are a little high, but overall not too bad. In fact, they offer a pretty decent filet for around $20.
For a while it seems the quality had really gone downhill, but whether it's new management or new employees or whatever, they really seem to have brought it back.
It's usually pretty easy to get in but you will have to wait in line on the weekends.
There is also a separate lounge with the usual happy hour specials.
