I love to eat Indian Food, where ever I go, I look for Indian restaurant. But the day I eat my first Lunch buffet at Tandoori Grill I could not believe , The food was fresh..........Tandoori Chicken was very tender its merination was amazing . Their Chicken Tikka Masala was greeeeeeeaaat really outstanding. In vegetables oh my God I never seen combination of Saag Gobhi It had a great Taste. Garlic nan was served fresh and hot.Tomotao soup was right to the taste buds.
I tried their dinner with my girl friend their dinner atmosphere is very romantic, lights are very dim and fancy candles on each table with light classical music makes is more warm and cosy. As soon as we enter inside the restaurant, A young lady welcomed us and promptly give us the corner seat.
We order Mix tandoori, Chicken Muglai,Lachha Prantha,Chicken Pakora,Peas pulav rice, mango ice cream.
Service was great, even the manager come to us (two times) if we are satisfied, every thing ordered is according to our taste. I will recommend to must try Tandoori grill. Food and service both are outstanding
Pros: Out Standing food and service
Cons: nothing observed

I grew up in London, where Indian restaurants are everywhere. It is one of my favorite types of foods. I seek Indian restaurants wherever I travel, and Tandoori Grill is probably the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to. We have been vegetarians for several years, and there is an excellent selection of vegetarian dishes. But before that we ate meat, and Tandoori Grill has fantastic dishes of all kinds. Although I shouldn't be offering up meat selections, being a vegetarian and all, try the Lamb Vindaloo. Amazing.
Don't be afraid of the lunch buffet. Unlike other restaurants, the quality of the buffet is on par with that of the menu dishes.
Pros: Food...food...food...and service.
Cons: Not an easy location, but well worth it!

My husband tried to get me to go out for Indian food for almost a decade before I relented and visited Tandoori Grill with him. The exterior (a strip mall) does not prepare you for the beauty within. Lovely drapes adorn the front windows and authentic pictures decorate the walls. We were seated immediately and found the wait staff to be friendly. We were given as much time as we needed to browse the menu without being made to wait. The food was prepared quickly and was delicious! The Tandoori Grill has become one of our most favorite restaurants both dine-in and carry out. It is certainly worth a try!
Pros: Food, staff, short wait time.
Cons: parking lot has small spaces.

Indian food as most of us already know, is usually hit and miss. If you want to spend a ton of money on atmosphere and decor, maybe to impress a date, then this is not your place. Tandoori is all about service and food. Anyone who enjoys Indian will be more than surprised at the quality of the entrees. Some places are all decor and mediocre food
(you know who you are). Tandoori grill is excellent despite it's lack of authentic styling. I enjoy the lamb and chicken curry. They're chicken masala, samosas, freshly cooked naan, raita and authentic Indian beers are all terrific. Its all very good and it can be ordered for pick up too! For Santa Clarita, you can't go wrong here.

I have eaten indian food all over california, and this place is one of my favorites. the tandoori shrimp are EXCELLENT. the portion is large, and the shrimp are absolutely huge (probably 6-8 to the lb), you get 4 of them. they are tender, and perfectly done. My son loves the thikka lamb. Sure the tab is a little pricey-( usually after the 2 beers, 2 entrees, raita, garlic naan, and vegetable biryani rice), it is probably $70 for the 2 of us, but we always have enough for another meal, and I feeel that the food is well worth the money.

As the other reviewer said it's the only Indian restaurant in the area so beggars can't be chosers. I found the $23.95 it cost me for tikka masala, rice and a naan a bit on the expensive side.
The food itself was just O.K. in that there's nothing else available around but the amount of sauce HEAVILY outweighed the amount of chicken in the masala. The best bit of the meal was the little pot of something supplied with it. Masala and rice were fairly bland and the naan on the small side.
The service was good and everyone very friendly and honest (I left my wallet on the counter after paying).
All in all a non-spectacular experience but I'll go again simply because there's no choice and anything is better than nothing.
PROS: Good, friendly service.
CONS: Bland food.

Being that this is the only Indian restaurant in the Santa Clarita valley anyone living in this area has no choice but to go here if they are craving Indian food. The food here is satisfactory, really nothing to rave about. The restaurant is small and the customer service is excellent. The hours they are open are limited to a specific block of time in the afternoon and then they close for a few hours and re-open in the evening, so call ahead to make sure they are open when you want to go. But if you want really good Indian food you need to venture out of the Santa Clarita valley.
PROS: Customer Service
CONS: Food is nothing special

I do know Indian food and the Tandoori Grill is a bargain. The food is very good, the portions are large and the service is excellent. If you are not accustom to the cuisine then ask your waitperson for help. They know American tastes and will advise accordingly. There is a sampler on the menu that is a good way to start. Remember, they depend on repeat business, so it is in their best interest to serve you well. Go, give them a try, tell them I sent you.
Pros: Portions, Price

This was the first time i tried "indian" food and i didnt know what to expect. Well i think i know good food when i taste it and this place just didnt do anything for me. The place was small and it had a few couples in there..the staff was kind of rude. They are pushy and impatient. And the menue is hard to understand. This place is not for me. And i dont recommend it if you have tried indian food. I tried real indian food recently and wow! but here? no way
