I first went to My Retreat looking for a foot massage... I was 2 weeks overdue with my daughter and desperate - don't ask! No, it didn't work, but boy did I find somewhere special! I have had three more experiences and have thoroughly enjoyed each and every one of them. My latest massage was one of the best I've ever had - not too soft, and not too deep - perfect! I left feeling relaxed and rejuvinated... not beat up and exhausted as I have leaving other places. It's so nice to walk through the door - it smells wonderful and the staff is pleasant and helpful. I can't wait to go back... I'm hoping my husband reads this and gets the hint!

I recently attended a Cahmber of Commerce mixer at Jelly Belly. The whole atmosphere was fun and exciting, visual and great for kids! They are top notch when it comes to producing delicious candy, and I love the belly flops! You can buy bags of misformed beans, all flavors mixed together at rock bottom prices, just don't try putting them in the jelly bean dispenser! Very enjoyable trip.

Remember When has an enormous selection of scrapbooking supplies - expensive (as most scrapping supplies are), but at least you can find them! Their classes are great - and very inexpensive for what you get. Staff is courteous and knowlegable.

Bounty Books are a great source for new and used books. They offer good prices for returns, and help with reccomendations to read. Great staff, great store! If you read a lot, or just like to find completely random new things, buying used books can save you a lot of money, especially if you dont mind trading them in when you're done!

If you have kids who are hard on clothes and are picky about what they wear, this is the place to go. The clothes are fashionable though sizes tend to run small. They have clothes for the whole family. They even have a plus size selection. As with any outlet store you have to watch out for the irregular items, but this could be as minute as the tag being sewn in backwards or as odd as one leg being longer than the other. The best part about the store is the price - 50% of the lowest ticketed price. I was able to purchase an entire winter's wardrobe for my daughter for less than $100! Definitely worth checking out for any family on a budget.

This place is fantastic from the moment you walk in and see their juice bar and deli type counters with desserts, burritos, sandwiches, and SUSHI (made fresh in front of you if you ask) and chinese food. They have all the groceries you need and even have an entire natural food section. They also boast international treats that you may not find in other places.
