This is the first Murillo's and it's a small place but the food is darn good and the service is too. I've only had one bad experience with service here but that hasn't kept me from coming back for more. I LOVE the salsa here and if you're looking for hot salsa this is the place to be. The food is great and the new look in the restaurant is fun. Please go check out one or the other Murillo's tonight!

I love Mexican food - and will pretty much try any Mexican Restaurant at least once. Although I've found lots of good ones, none compare to Murillo's. I live in Colorado now, and every time I go back to Northern California, I insist on going to Murillo's. This is genuine authentic Mexican, relatively inexpensive and has a great atmosphere. Their mild salsa is a family favorite - we always ask for lots of extra bowls so we don't all have to share. I am partial to the chicken avocado tostada (which has chicken, beans, fresh avocado, lettuce & cheese - toped with the mild sauce). I don't think anyone in my family has ever been disappointed with Murillo's - which is saying something since we're regulars. It's easy to find - right off of I-80 near the factory outlets. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed!

I've been here several times with my boyfriends family. it is one of their family favorites. i tend to like the fact that they grill they bean burritos. just gives a plain burrito sometime extra. i like the hot salsa while they make an excellent mild salsa that my other half likes. they have a nice family atmosphere and friendly staff. sometimes they seem to be a bit understaffed but those who are there are friendly.

Loved the food and the service was FAST!! The only dislike that I had about it was that the food was a little pricey. I will definately go there again!!

I've been eating at this restaurant for almost 30 years, and love the food. Everything is great, and a big favorite is the Chicken Enchilada Tostada. I personally usually get cheese enchiladas with beans and rice and add cheese on top of everything else. The "old" restaurant is the best, on Merchant Street, and we think it's because it has the better (older) grease. The new restaurant is on Monte Vista by the freeway...you take your fancy visitors there. They recently raised the prices on their menu which has kept me from going as often, and it seems like I'm not the only one since it has been far less crowded than usual. Oh, and I love the chips & salsa.
