The staff is knowlegable about just about everything - from plumbing to electrical to gardening to lumber... if they don't have it they can get it. If you don't know where to start, they do. If you need a different way to get something built, they know how to get it done. They are simply the best - a "real" hardware store, where they help you and don't run for the hills when they see you coming!

The staff is friendly, and as another reviewer said, will actually take you to what you ask for. I can actually find someone to help me in this store unlike the big box stores. Good selection of stuff you need.

I was in need of a new mattress, but I found the best deal at shocks!! I was in the market for a foam mattress similar to a tempurpedic mattress... i found the comforpedic and like the fact that comforpedic doesn't make the price ROCK solid! Tempurpedic does not allow their retailers to mark the price down... the normal price i found for the comforpedic mattress was about $1700 for the queen sized comfor-tex model... I purchased the same mattress at shocks for $989 plus tax! Sure it was a floor model... but their regular price was only $1300 which was $400 less than the other places I found! Go to shocks for your furniture needs!!! They are nice and know what they're talking about!!

Scott has done multiple projects in my home for a period of 3 years. I have had nothing but great experinces with him and his affiliates with his company. Scott and his guys have always gave me great work and great service. I would highly refer him to do work with any one I know. Thanks again...You get what you pay for !!

What a wonderful store. I had already decided on the La zy boy sofa and recliner that I wanted. I called a few stores. Shock's was wonderful. They gave me all the information I needed over the phone. They were more than willing to match the price of the La zy boy furniture gallery but best of all they really appreciated my business. You can buy at a big retail chain but if you want to do business with people who care go to Shocks. Stacey and Don are tops..

This is usually the cheapest gasoline vendor in vacaville. The staton on Monte Vista is usually a bit cheaper than the one of orchard. Gas is so-so, and for a few cents more, you can get a few more miles. For a rather generic station, it is very spacious and fits many cars in that can fill up simultaneously. A good layout for a standard gasolinary.

I enjoyed buying from this store. They have beautiful high quality pieces. There are no bargains here but you get what you pay for. The style of most of the furniture is country, mission, and cottage. The sales people are helpful but not too helpful. They don't chase you around the store trying to push you into buying. Basically they leave you alone and let you wander around and then let you come to them if you need assistance. If your looking for nice heirloom quality furniture that's made out of solid wood. This is your place!
