Fact is, I'm heading back to Chicago in another week. I was in Vegas in May, Outer Banks in June, in Dayton and Columbus all the time - I still like the Monkey Barrel better than any (other than Anthropology)!! Sorry you disagree! You probably have a wild side and strange style for the Urbana mindset! We'll agree to disagree.

I found many items that couldn't be found anywhere in Columbus! I found items that I have found in Chicago! I heard other customers commenting on how much they loved the store! Not sure why anyone would write a bad review - the store is great - small town or not!

Perhaps for a little burg like Urbana where real fashion sense is not the done thing...the Monkey Barrel provides a bit of distraction...but compared to legit fashion based shops....it cannot compare. Sorry, we disagree with you. You can get better value and style elsewhere.

I was shopping in Urbana last Saturday and found the neatest little boutique. I couldn't believe that Urbana had such a great little store - usually you'd only find this kind of store in resort areas. The Monkey Barrel Boutique had darling finds from all over the United States and brands that can't be found around here. It's my new favorite place to shop and I hope the community supports them - I'd absolutely hate to see them move out!!!!
