I was SO thrilled at my experience at Dr Z's today! The staff was very knowlegdeable and helpful. They walked me through each area, explained everything very well, and the price? UNMATCHED! I even got a pair of Rayban sunglasses, an exam, and 6 months worth of contacts (that were in stock)for such a great price! I would recommend this establishment for everyone!

After reading these reviews let's just say the bar wasn't set very high- However, I was pleasently surprised! It was better than OK it was awesome!They have sunglasses too! My daughter got Gucci sunglasses while I had my eye exam and fitting. In and out with better vision and a pair of sunglasses for way less expensive than anywhere else. GREAT PLACE!

Yes, Dr. "Z" is a businessman, not an eye doctor. I don't even know if he is real or just a marketing gimmick. I have gone there for glasses and eye exams and found it to be a good place. They obviously do a high volume of business and their staff is friendly but not really genuinely so. When my husband and I shopped arounf for LASIK surgery we decided to pass on Dr. Z. We heard from a few people that had to go back to get their eyes adjusted again after the surgery. The staff and doctors weren't that terribly impressive, more of a cattle call production. We decided on using Dr. Marc Abel at Triad Eye Clinic to perform our sugery. He did an excellent job and we both have 15/20 vision and never had to get adusted. Dr. Z is cheaper than Dr. Abel but you always get what you pay for.

Dr. "Z" is 100% business man... he doesn't see any patients, he just runs his business. * I checked around to see who I'd be comfortable with for lasik... I had a hard time with his optomitrists. They seemed rather inexperienced. I don't know about you, but I'd rather be treated by someone who's good enough to open their own business, rather than someone in the lower half of their med class who wasn't good enough to make it on their own. I know I'm makeing broad generalizations there, but that's how I feel.
