I am an Early Bird Special Lover. I seek out any kind of special I can get with the price of gas these days. I saw an ad in the paper for Avalon Steakhouse. They had an Early Bird Special for Prime Rib advertised, so I decided to try it out. YUMMIE!!! The prime rib I decided to get was the smaller of the two. 8oz Prime rib dinner with a potato and a salad for $12.95. i was worried about what it would look like at that reasonable price, but I was surprised at the size of my meal. The prime rib was wonderful.....and the inside of the restaurant was beautiful. Thanks Avalon and BRAVO! Pros: THEY HAVE EARLY BIRD SPECIALS

I had some important clients coming to town and I decided to take them to dinner at the Avalon. The service was prompt and our dinners were exceptional. We ordered quite a variety of meals. A few of my clients had steaks and shrimp, while others indulged in Lobster tails. My clients were very impressed. The size of the Lobster tail alone almost knocked us out of our seats. We ended our meals with coffee and dessert. Their bread pudding is one that could rival my Mothers famous homemade bread pudding. Thanks to the Avalon, my clients left town with smiles on their faces. Pros: fantastic food and service, great place to bring clients

I have been to alot of Steakhouses, and Avalon is now rated in my top three all time favorite places to eat. My steak was cooked to absolute perfection, and my server suggested an absolutely deliteful bottle of Liberty School Syrah, to accompany my steak. I couldn't resist trying one of their many desserts. I chose the carrott cake.....wow what a piece of cake it was. I just want to stand up and cheer that Avalon is here!!!! Thank you for a delightful experience. I really can't say what the food tastes like. We did not get that far. After waiting 20 minutes by the hostess stand we were finally seated in a nearly empty dining room with tables so close together you felt like you were at camp. 30 minutes passed with out our drink order being taken. I sought out the "manager", who was found with her feet up behind the bar, and was waved away with a "Aw they probally forgot ya"! It was unreal that this place had been so highly recomended! We will not be giving it a second chance. Pros: clean Cons: you would get better service in an army mess tent.

I had my first dining experience at the Avalon tonite, and all I can say is I loved it. My husband and I havn't been out in a while, and since we never tried the Avalon, we decided to eat there before catching a movie. We ordered their Ribeye steaks. They were cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed a Bread pudding dessert and a fabulous cheesecake dessert, although we could have shared one, because their portions are so big. The service was wonderful, both friendly and prompt. We will be back. Way to go Avalon!!! Pros: THUMBS WAY UP Cons: We had to wait a short time for a table, but well worth the wait

Wow, pretty much sums up my experience at Avalon. My company had a party there last night, and I couldn't believe how good the food was. We were able to try a little bit of everything. We had a seafood appetizer, stuffed mushrooms, and calamari to start. For dinner my wife and I had the filet mignon, which was superb. However when I saw the prime rib come out on a plate for one of my co-workers, I was a little jealous I couldn't try it, but there is always next time. I will be back and will tell all my friends and family about the Avalon. I cannot emphasize how wonderful our experience was there. From the food to the service we received, its five star all the way. Great job Avalon! We will definitely be back Pros: selection of food, selection of wine, and fantastic service Cons: had a bit of trouble finding location. Calling for directions was helpful.

I am so glad I walked into the Avalon. My friend and I were celebrating a recent job promotion and decided to treat oursewlves to a 4 star dinner. I had heard mixed reviews of the Avalon and decided to try it for myself. I ordered the Surf and Turf, my friend ordered the Filet Mingnon. Although the market price of the Surf and Turf was pricey, I will say that when I saw the plate nearing my table, I couldn't believe the size of the lobster tail. I was impressed with the presentation, and more that pleased with the taste of the lobster and steak. I didn't know I could get a lobster tail like this anywhere in Oklahoma!!!!! I will be back!!!!! Pros: Beautiful setting, great food presentation, friendly serevers Cons: A little out of the way, but worth the drive!!!!!

I had lunch at the Avalon this afternoon with four of my co-workers. I couldn't believe how great their lunch menu was. All five of us had their Kansas city stips which came with a potato and salad. The steaks were great and the bill was even better. I was amazed that five of us ate steaks , a side, and salad, for under $11 dollars a piece. What a great find for lunch. I never knew they had such a great selection. Their staff was friendly and their service was good.

I Just wanted to let everyone konw that The Avalon Steak House has the best steaks in Tulsa. I have dined there in the evening as well as lunch. The steaks were fabulous, and the server I had was wonderful. If you want a great steak go to the Avalon. If you are on a budget their lunch menu is a great value for the menu they offer. I have had wonderful experiences there and would reccomend it to all!
