You can't beat this place. I have found that this Borders (with two stories to boot!) has THE best selection of non-fiction books. They have a great history and psychology section as well as plenty of other non-fiction sections. Barnes & Noble seems to focus more on magazine and fiction. This bookstore is also great because of the coffee shop and the friendly staff. They used to sell Joseph Schmidt chocolate but I haven't seen it there in some time. I love going to this bookstore on date night, we both always find something we want. Another tip - get on their email mailing list, they will often email you an coupon good for anywhere from 15 to 30% off one book. Good way to justify a visit to them!!!

I really love going to this place. There is something for everyone at Gardner's. They don't just carry books, they have a huge selection of movies, cds, comics, toys, and books on tape. The people there are so helpful. They have just put in a coffee shop in their store which is awesome. It is hard not to stay all day there.

Steve's is the place the makes you want to pay full price so a place like this can stay in business. A true blast from the past. Celebrating over 50 years in business.
The largest selection of magazines in Tulsa. Over 50,000 titles in stock with lots of local interest and frequently featuring book signings.
Is this a trendy bookstore with the little coffee bar? NO! Steve's has an old-fashioned soda fountains that serves up sandwiches and fountain drinks.
Conveniently located in mid-town Tulsa, off the Harvard exit of the Broken Arrow Expressway. (highway 51/64)

This is my favorite book store in Tulsa. The coffee guy is funny, and he makes a great cocoa. I like to read and drink my cocoa there on rainy days. The prices are fine, a little high, but totally worth the money.

Oak Tree is one of the few surviving used book stores in Tulsa. Used books are $3.50, and they have a great selection, all very well organized.
They ONLY take books that are in good condition, and are relatively recent (within the last 10-20 years). So you can buy them cheap, or sell your own for $0.50 each back to them. But be warned - they're kind of picky about what they'll buy.

This is very nice store supplying comic book and other related things. I like this store because there are a large numbers of comic books. They arrange books alphabetically and it is very easy to find the book you need. They separate the used comic books and the new arrivals in different section. Also, I like the toys of different heros and they have some nice tshirts too. The staff are nice and friendly.

I've had Richard Gardner do my taxes for almost twenty years now. Before that, I did my own and I only stopped doing that when my returns started to get too complex to do without studying the current rules for more time than I wanted to spend. The first time, I took a return there I completed and had Richard look at it and he found legal deductions that more than compensated for the cost of his services. He is polite, he is interested and he is knowledgeable. I highly recommend him. I've never had a problem getting through to his office but, during tax season, it is a very busy place and that has to be considered.

The best Barnes and Nobles that I've been to. Huge selection of wonderful books to choose from. Employees are helpful and outgoing. I'll go here and sit for hours on end and read books and magazines from their shelves and never a word is spoken. The snack area isn't bad either. I enjoy my time at this store.
