AVOID AT ALL COSTS The shop is in a not so good part of town and is extremely dirty. They will not let you into the garage area to see any work being performed on your vehicle(and I was only getting an oil change). The owner called me a liar when I told him that every other oil change shop in Tucson allows me to see my car during the oil change process. I had an 8:30 appt., showed up at 8:25 and had to wait 10-15min until the technician finished getting dressed before the work on my vehicle began. Then they pulled my car into a rear bay where I couldn't even catch a glimpse of my vehicle being worked on. I went back there to see what was going on and was told by the owner that I cannot be in the bay with my car for insurance reasons. They seem really shady, and didn't want me even to stand outside behind the bay and watch the work be performed. And I simply cannot believe that the owner called me a liar (what is he thinking, what kind of customer service is that). So I told them to get out of my car and I left. But not before the dirty technician soiled my car with his hands and clothes because they don't use any type of plastic or anything to keep their garage grease and oil out of your vehicle. This is the kind of place that gives auto service places a bad name. Customer service in the automotive industry is a must. I should have noticed right off the bat that this was not the place for me right when I walked in. I walk in and begin talking to the owner telling him about my appt., he stops dealing with me midway through to take a phone call then proceeds to stay on the phone ordering parts for 2 or 3 min only to finish the conversation telling the guy on the phone "I'll have to call you back I'm pretty busy right now". I think he could of put the guy on hold and told him that 2 or 3mins earlier. You bring your car in for something simple and then next thing you know you're spending thousands at a place like this. more

Pricey, but worth it 3/29/2006

If you have a volvo or other foreign car, take it to the guys down at Prestige. They are honest and careful, although you do pay for the extra care. When my Volvo started its gradual decent to death, I was in this place more and more often. Brad and the repair team took great care of the car, always explained exactly what need to be done, and were perfectly honest in telling me what HAD to be done, and what could wait a few more months. They were also honest in finally telling me that the car was not worth the repairs. If you need good care for your german car, take it here. It's worth it. Really. more
