In the Trumbull Shopping Park is a Godiva Chocolatier with a particularly friendly manager. She will chat with you about her favorite chocolates, she is not high pressure on any purchase, she is generous with the featured sample (see the godiva website for the sample calender - sometimes its coffee, sometimes hot cocoa, sometimes the new truffle for the season). Once when she heard I liked the Godiva ice cream, she told me to wait a minute and went in the back and got a coupon for the ice cream out of her own purse - one she clipped from the newspaper - and gave it to me. I was impressed with that because I am not a frequent customer and only made a nominal purchase that day, and she still did something extra nice for me. The quality is fresh. It is a nice treat to stop in Godiva and get something special instead of eating something average for a treat in the food court.
