Marmora is easily my favorite lunch restaurant in Troy. The atmosphere is lovely, the owners (husband and wife) are warm and engaging, and the food is fantastic. Excellent presentation, delicious flavor, and priced right. I love their grilled chicken salad. I highly recommend checking out Marmora. They are located in the Antique District downtown.

I head into Shake Shake Mama's at least twice a week for their healthy shakes and lunch. I had avoided their lunch for a while, figuring the shakes were their specialty. I was delightfully surprised - their food is delicious! My favorite is a chicken wrap with feta. Their dressings are excellent. They also have vegan and vegetarian alternatives.

I have been getting my hair done at Ando's for over 15 years now. I have never had a bad hair experience. My colors always come out natural looking. My hair looks and feels great everytime I leave. I have also had a great experience having my eyebrows waxed here.

My husband and three year old daughter love to go here. They enjoy having breakfast together and the Leahy's staff are always welcoming and kind to our little girl. She gets a real kick out of pretending to read the menu and then ordering her pancakes. The staff really understand breakfast with kids - jelly, milk, and flapjacks! This is a really special little place that's become their regular weekly hangout.

I just stopped in and I was greeted by such a friendly staff. They were very, very busy but did everything possible to make me feel welcome and answer all my questions...no matter how silly my questions were. They were very open and honest even though it meant me spending less money with them. They were so helpful and the showroom is beautiful. Bottom line they make you feel very welcome and I will be buying all my gear from them even though I could save a few dollars online...supporting a local business like this is worth paying a few dollars more!

Lou the barber is by far the best barber around. Especially if you go to RPI, skip the campus barber who just messes your hair up and go to Lou's.
His place is covered in old sports memoriablia, and there is very rarely a wait.
Lou himself is an awesome guy who swears a whole lot but knows when its appropriate (i.e. he doesn't do it in front of kids, etc). He'll talk your ear off about stuff you want to talk about, not the normal dribble most barbers give you.
His haircuts take faster than any other barber I have been to and cost about $8-$10.
All in all, if you go to RPI, or live around RPI, Lou's is the place to go for a haircut.

This AAA office is great. When I go on lunch break there is no other customers in there so I never have to wait. The employees are always very friendly and helpful and point you in the right direction. They even make trip tiks for you if you right there. AAA is a great service to have and their maps and tour books are great.

i have been in many restaurants in my time and i can honestly say that Lo Porto is definitely one of the best around..
from the very friendly staff to the nice easy going atmosphere everything is just perfect....and than the food ... in one simple statement .....if your Italian it brings you back to Italy, and if your not Italian you will be from the time you start to eat till you leave.. the food its magical ..its GREAT!!!
Lo Porto will be a place that you will keep going back ... no doubt in my mind!!

After more than a week of hotel meals this was a joy to find. Everything matched my notion of how a diner should be - from the efficient service , the generous portions of good food right through to the clean and tidy restrooms.
Great value into the bargain.
