I have gone to Holmes and Watson several times. The very first time I went, it was for a banquet taking place on their second floor. That time was a disappointment because even though the food was of a decent quality, it was bland and did not have any personality. Subsequent visits to Holmes and Watson have been much more satisfactory. They have a decent sized menu with lots of options. Their menu has a lot of sandwich selections as well as cooked meal options. Their lighter faire, such as salads is also wonderful. I have ordered a chef's salad and received a plate of salad covered in cold cuts, which though not necessarily healthy was fulling and really a decent surprise. One of the down sides to Holmes and Watson though is that their meals do not include fries, but potato chips. That really is a shame though because they serve some really good waffle fries. You just have to order them separately.
