I've been to Valenti's about a dozen times, never had a bad experience. The pizza is very good, take out or eat in. They've recently expanded the seating area adding a few tables and redesigning the seating area that was there before. The service can be a little slow, but not horribly so. Don't go there late in the evening expecting anything other than a bar though, or you will be disappointed, since it is a bar. I've never gotten anything on the menu that wasn't good or very good, pizza is the best, quite a few different choices. I'd recommend this place to anyone that isn't in an extreme hurry, and doesn't mind some noise - being a pub with a bar and all. Pros: Good Food Cons: Noisy sometimes and service can be a little slow

The service is terrible. Snotty wait and bar staff. Unattentive. You have to tackle a waitress to get service. Not clean. Bathrooms poorly lit and maintained. You do NOT want to take your kids there. The whole place smells of stale beer. Steer clear of this place. With all of the competition out there in the restaurant business, you should be able to find a place to get good food, a nice facility AND good service. You just cannot get the whole package at Valenti's. Based on the poor attitude of ALL of the staff, I doubt that Valenti's can fix this. Truly they need to find a new manager, because the person running this show is asleep at the switch and does a really poor job of hiring and taking care of the facility. This place lives on some reputation that it may have earned a long time ago. Nothing about Valenti's is appealing. Pros: Find one. Cons: Everything listed in the review.

Valenti's Pub offers not only a great atmosphere and great people, but a menu to die for! From great pizza and the best wings in the Capital District, to burgers and italian dishes like Chicken Parm and Manicotti, Valenti's is the place to be. Later in the evening the tables get put away and the dance floor is open while the area's best DJ's play whatever you request, or a great band sings and plays the night away. Always a great time!!! Pros: great food, great prices, great people
