You just can't get any better than the Ruck. Everybody goes there after going out. Even if you hate Troy, you love the Ruck and will miss it when you leave. The bartenders are awesome and it has a "second home" like feeling. The prices are so low, anyone can afford to be an alcoholic!

This is my favorite place to celebrate a triumph or drown a defeat. Enjoy tasty beers, the very best burgers, hot fries, spicy wings... or the comfort of a hot open-faced turkey sandwich with real mashed potatoes, homemade gravy, and cranberry sauce. It has a neighborhood feel and appeal. The ladies' room could use some updating, but the building has character. I have heard that the desserts are all homemade, but I'm always too full to try one. They're closed on Mondays, and if you want to eat quickly you'll want to get in before the drinking crowd on Thurs, Fri and Sat. Enjoy the bar ambiance... the only thing that's really changed in 15 years is the smoking ban!
Pros: Burgers, real mashed potatoes and turkey gravy, good service

Famous lunch is known for their mini hot dogs. Get them all the way - chili, onions, and mustard. I've heard the hot dogs are made especially for them by a local butcher.
Forget appearances here - the food doesn't look great. And sure, you'll be feeling it's effects for the next day. But it's totally worth it.
