This book store has a marketing and event manager that is incredibly rude and obnoxious! I wouldn't shop there again if it was the only book store left in existence! Considering the type of reader I am, this store just lost a huge amount of business. Despite the fact that I have successfully shopped at the location in the past, I will not go to the establishment again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. As an independent bookstore struggling against the big chains like Barnes and Noble and Borders, one would think the upper management would be a bit more professional. How sad; a site that would have otherwise had potential is buried beneath a poor attitude and even poorer customer service.

This new bookshop next to the antique district in downtown Troy is a great find. The owner is super friendly and they do special orders. When you get tired of supporting the big book sellers and websites, come down and see a local bookseller with the knowledge and caring of a small town shop. Excellent local book selection, especially for hiking and biking guide books and maps.
