My sister invited me to dinner at Diamond's, which is now called Concetta's after the mother of the new owner, the old bartender. The restaurant and bar still boast the same consistently great service and food.... so, the only change is the name itself. The restaurant can only be described as "Old School." You can find all of the Mercer County politicos and the old school Italian set at the bar - holding court. It's a place to see and be seen for the Trenton types. After drinks at the bar, we were seated and then the bread came... then the roasted peppers and sharp provolone... then the salads... the entrees.. the desserts... more drinks... I felt like I owned the place. What a great night! Great service. Friendly staff. Perfect for a romantic evening, also.
