I have been a customer of this wonderful Chicken place since my cousin lived nearby and now we both Call and Drive over just for Great Chicken and Fried Mushrooms and salads. They remember us from before and usually give you extra rolls-- Yummy rolls too
P.S. You need to Call Early during Football season, they are Sooooooo Busy

It's hard to describe how un-fastfood this place is. This place is sooo family friendly. The employees are highly personable and well-trained. I've eaten there dozens of times and every order is correct. Employees will bring the food to your table rather than have you wait at the counter and will bus your trays when you're done. I've even had them offer to get me refills. This place is simply stunning with regards to service.

Eating here can either be the worst or the best eating experience you'll ever have. Let me clarify.
The food is great. For the price you pay, you really are receiving quality fried chicken.
The atmosphere is terrible. The dining room is filthy and the kitchen doesn't seem sanitary at all. I would *DEFINITELY* not recommend sitting in here and eating. It'll ruin the experience of eating the food.
Lesson? Order take out and have a friend pick up the food for you.

Compared to nearby Prince Fried Chicken, Georgia Fried Chicken really does know how to cook some southern-inspired sit-down comfort food.
The neighborhood may be a bit sketchy, and Georgia Fried Chicken really reflects it - the name of the restaurant is made of construction paper and pasted on the window with scotch tape - but the dining room is very clean and the food is second to none. Easily the best soul food experience I've had in this area.

Georgia Fried Chicken is a great place for fried food and a feeling for southern comfort food. The place itself was clean and well kept, and the employees were friendly and polite. My order was accurate (hard to get these days) and seemed oversized despite a normal order. They had a great price and great food. If you're familiar with southern cooking, which I am, it is not quite spot on with Georgian fried food. However, everything was still delicious.
