Auntie Pasta's Italian Cafe

Auntie Pasta's Italian Restaurant has a great setting on the Boardman River. The window tables are the best, of course, but the atmosphere in the restaurant does make all the seating appeasing. My favorite meal is the Pesto Chicken - linguine noodles tossed with creamy pesto sauce, grilled italian chicken and sauteed onions and peppers. It is delicious. Their meals comes with the bottomless salad bowl topped with their own basil vinaigrette dressing...and who can forget the bread. They make the best bread....you can dip it in olive oil and seasonings or just eat it plain. Its delicious. Its a great place to enjoy a nice italian meal. more

I love going to Auntie Pasta's for a lot of reasons but when it gets right down to it: it's all about the bread. They make their Italian bread fresh throughout the day. It is brought to table warm and it is amazing. They have a wonderful infused olive oil on the table for dipping and honestly it could be a meal in itself. Some of my other favorite items are their house salad (which is served with a wonderful basil vinagrette dressing), the Italian chicken (which is served with a side of pesto pasta yum!) and of course their lasagna, manicotti and Fettucini Alfredo. They also have a wonderful dessert menu so save room. They offer tiaramisu, almond cheesecake, spumoni ice cream as well as specialty items (they always have something chocolate so be sure to ask) The service is always fast and friendly and the view of the Boardman River makes for a relaxing atmosphere. more

Auntie Pasta's is nestled along the beautiful Boardman River in Traverse City. The restaurant overlooks the river and in the summertime you can enjoy your meal outside on the deck. Auntie Pasta's offers a full menu of Italian food whether you're looking for something light like a salad (their caesar salad is divine) or a full out Italian meal (they have great combination plates to give you a taste of some of their most popular items). The best part of the dining experience has got to be the home-made bread which is served warm.
