My daughter is a "wanna be Dr. Klyman," though she is terribly shy when she sees her. Dr. Kylman saved my daughter from malnutrition/breastfeeding gone wrong, the first week of my daughter's life. Our family doctor wouldn't have seen our daughter until a week later, which would have been too late. Not only was she informative throughout from the 2 times she visited us directly after our daughter was born, but she was immediate in making sure our daughter was well and insisting on seeing her within that first week at her office. Since then, I've trusted her completely. She needs to write a book with all her knowledge for new parents like me. My OBGyn had recommended Dr. Klyman because his kids all went to her. I've never been so thankful.

We love Dr. Klyman-Friend and all the doctors in her practice. She is the best pediatrician in that she is direct, to the point, but at the same time caring, and has a kindness in her heart. There always seems to be a balance. You want a doctor that is young in that they are up to date on all the current best practices and procedures, but at the same time you want an older doctor that has the hands on experience. Dr. Klyman offers both! When she is in the office she is always available for us, but at the same time if she's not there the practice is always able to accommodate with another Doctor in the practice, and each one has there own strength. Don't go anywhere else if you live in Torrance.

She is the best pediatrician that I have ever seen or met. This recommendation comes from myself and 5 other family members and friends of mine that use her. The only drawback is that at my age, she can't be my own doctor!!! Also, she doesn't take new patients...I've tried!!!

If you are looking for a pediatrician she is the best!!!! I have taken my 2 kids to her since they were 1 year old.Now my kids are 18 and 14, and unfortunately we moved to Sacramento, but anytime they get sick, Dr Klyman is the first person in my mind. I drive from Sacramento to Torrance when I have to without a blink.She is caring, compassionate, and treats each and every patient like hee very own child. I would recommend her to ANYONE!

Dr Klyman is just the best doctor I could have for my daughter. She is caring, extremely professional and super smart lady.They do not make doctors like her anymore. I feel so blessed to have her as Briana's pediatrician.She loves her so much. She looks forwards to visit Dr. Klyman whenever she gets a boo-boo. Her office staff are so nice and helpful. Since day one I have had nothing, but the best impression .Everyone does a great job.

In my opinion and experience, you just CANNOT find a better pediatrician than Dr. Klyman. She is warm, caring, friendly, attentive, thorough, VERY experienced, knowledgable and is easily the hardest working doctor in showbusiness! Can you believe that with the birth of BOTH of my babies, it was not uncommon for Dr. Klyman to pop into my hospital room to check in on them at 11pm? 3am? Once a day, every day- sometimes 2...and my children were in perfect health! She will tell you how beautiful your baby is, how special he/she is and what a wonderful parent you are. She will reassure you when you are worried or unsure and she will make sure that your child gets the kind of unbelivable care that every child *should* have (and sadly doesn't). I actually cried when we moved out of the neighborhood and couldn't have Dr. Klyman anymore. The only complaints I would have would be that her office is VERY busy (still- you can always get a same day appt when needed) and her front office staff are usually very incompetent. Her nurses and back office staff are fantastic- but the girls who answer the phones and take your copayments are pretty much useless. If you phone in and get put on hold for more than 15 minutes- hang up and call back again because they forgot about you. Happens ALL THE TIME :(
