In addition to general vision care, Dr. Chase is a developmental optometrist. This means he can identify problems with how your eyes work. He was able to identify problems that my daughters had focusing on words (made copying from the chalk board difficult) and tracking (made reading take an excruciatingly long time). He prescribed twice-weekly vision therapy that, literally, changed my daughters' lives. One has become an avid reader...the second one we are still working on. I love Dr. Chase and am glad we found him.

Recommended to us by a friend, finding Dr. Chase was a great find! We've gone to him now for all our family's vision needs - eyeglasses for me, vision therapy for the kids. The vision therapy was impressive - being able to track how & where their eyes focus when they read and then developing a program to help them improve their tracking skills was great. It has helped them improve by easing the stress of working with their school assignments.
