This store is great! They have almost every title you need. About reading books in the aisle, c'mon its only common sense that its a safety and fire hazard. If something happened would you want to stumble over some person laying across an aisle as if they were at home, reading a book? I dont think so. We all have to remember its a place of BUSINESS, NOT a LIBRARY....BUY your book and read it peacefully and uniterrupted at HOME. The employees are not snobby, they're doing their job. I love that place!

Barnes and Noble is a great bookstore to visit mid-day mid-week. Otherwise, plan on battling the crowd or getting there at opening hour. Hard to find staff, but well organized shelves. Coffee shop inside makes for a great treat after perusing books, and checking before you buy.
PROS: Everything you need
CONS: very busy all the time

The Barnes and Noble Bookseller located at the Del Amo Mall in Torrance is a place I frequent every once and a while. The pros: you can find a place and grab whatever books you need and just read them there. Don't have the money to buy textbooks and reading materials? Just take the bus there and grab what you need--but don't forget to leave them there or pay for them if you want to take them home. There's also a Starbucks located conveniently at the entrance to satisfy hunger issues. Now the cons: it is ALWAYS packed in there. It's usually a hard time to find an empty chair. So if you're with a big study group, get their early. In addition, some workers are a bit snooty and will tell you to go somewhere else if you're caught reading in a book aisle.
