Sorry to see them go! Great burgers - especially their 2 burgers for the price of 1- and great sandwiches. They never seemed to be all that busy except in the bar occasionally; we didn't have the bad experiences that others seem to have had here. Sad to seem them go out of business at this location. The Sammy's Woodfired Pizza across the driveway still seems to be going, so perhaps Sammy's was just the better competitor. Pros: 2 for 1 hamburgers

I enjoyed going here Sundays as was one of the few places open early enough for the morning NFL games. I preferred the intimate atmosphere of the original Killian's on Sepulveda over the much larger K2. Though I'm no longer in the area I'll miss the place and the people who worked/frequented it. The food was deplorable and the service was even worse. It does not take over an hour to fix bangers and mash for christ's sake. The restaurant only had a few occupied tables and the bar had around eight customers. The waitress only came around once to refill the coffee and never once said she'd check on the food, apologize for the slow service, etc. When we finally received our dishes, they were cold and greasy. We paid our bill, I do not remember leaving a tip and we got followed out by the management who watched us leave from the patio. We were never disruptive, did not complain at all about the food or service, etc and we paid our cheque in full so there was absolutely no reason for their treatment of us. We had frequented that establishment on numerous occasions previously but have not been back since. If I could give this place zero stars I would.

I decided to try killians on a weeknight this time, since I heard it was a chill place to get a beer (and it was conveniently close to where I live) and it was MUCH better than during the weekend. The crowd was older (30-40ish) with a few 20 somethings scattered around such as myself and company. The older crowd also meant that it was quieter, nobody got rowdy, and it was calm and a good place to catch up on the conversation with your friends. Now I will think about getting my daily Boddingtons from Killians in the evening. The waitress was also super nice (as they usually are here), and very up to the task of watching the level of our glasses. Pros: good variety of beers Cons: the weekend crowd

I would recomend this place if you wanted to have a couple drinks before you went to the movies because there is a AMC theatre is right next to it. Appetizers are pretty good too.

For the most part, this is a great place for people who want to have a great beer and some food in a fun atmosphere (the music rocks!) but without the rowdy stuff that happens at the wild nightclubs. Seems mostly like a 30s crowd and older and a somewhat mellow feel (wear your jeans!). You can even take the kids since a huge part of this establishment is a restaurant. Food is great but don't go if you are on a diet. Servers are fun and friendly. Football is awesome here (and I hate football!!) plus they have yummy tri-tip sandwiches. Happy hour is great. If you want a rowdy crowd, go on St. Patricks Day or a Saturday night when the crazies come out! Think that covers it! Pros: great music, food, happy hour Cons: parking can be a pain since it is by a movie theatre

They show every game (NFL and college). There's not a bad seat in the house with big screens and plasmas. Love the location on Sepulveda for a more "Cheers" atmosphere. Pros: friendly, great specials
