I bought a floor lamp at Lamp's Plus and 1 year later we heard a sound like a gunshot in our house. The large glass housing around the bulbs had cracked in 2 or 3 places. Apparently one of the halogen bulbs had gone out and caused the lamp to break. It could have shattered on the floor and hurt one my young children. I had to go to Lamps Plus 3 times just to talk to a manager. They refused to give me a refund or a store credit for the lamp despite its obvious safety issues. I will never shop at Lamps Plus again. Pros: good parking Cons: will not guarantee defective products, poor customer service

I bought floor lamp at Lamp's Plus. About 1 year later I heard a sound like a gunshot in my condo. The lamp bulb had burst and the large glass housing had cracked in several places. It was surprising that the entire glass piece had not fallen and shattered. It could have hurt one of my small children. I took the lamp to the store, and they would not take it back or give me a store credit despite the obvious safety issues with the lamp. To get this negative answer took about 3 trips to the store. I will never shop at Lamp's Plus again.

You cannot miss this place as your driving down Hawthorne blvd. It has an amazing slection of lamps and fans and it is will worth the trip if your willing to cough up the dough. If you ahve one of those hosues where you only buying rich stuff, this is where you wanna go. All the lamps and fans are on show, so it is easy to see how they would look. PROS: CONS: bit expensive
