I am not much on Mexican food as I grew up with real authentic Mexican food. However as one of the traditions of my husbands family this restraunt is a great place for everyone to meet up. They are always ready for a large group like ours and the food well I must say it is very good. As close to Mi Papas cooking as it can get. The service is friendly and fast most of the time they remember wich of the twenty plates goes to whom and our drinks are refilled before they are empty. Great for a family night together. Pros: The great food Cons: They need a bigger parking lot

I love Mexican food, but was disappointed with my first experience at La Frontera. However, they have improved since I first started eating there. Their service is quick and efficient, and the food is always hot. I love how I can go in and order something and it is ready within 10-15 minutes of being ordered. Although you get a lot of food, their prices are high and could come down. I would recommend them to anyone in Tooele, because honestly it's the best Mexican restaurant in Tooele.

I love their food. It is soooo good! Their chips and salsa served at the beginning is usually gone before our food comes. They have hands-down the best refried beans. And I think pretty much any time I go there I order the smothered chicken burrito! Their service is terrible. Almost without exception, once we get seated we don't see a server for at least 5 to 10 minutes. We make sure to have our order already decided on because if you just give them a drink order, you won't see them for another 15 minutes. Service throughout the meal is scarce and there has been lots of times when I've had to hunt down our waitress for something.

La Frontera is pretty close to my house so we often frequent this Mexican restaurant. Their smothered burritos are a family-favorite! Almost every time we've eaten there, the service has been lacking. We always order a soda AND a water because we know drink refills are few and far between. I find their salsa TOO spicy for my taste. I can only eat a little bit until my mouth is on fire. I just wish they would hire some better servers!
