Good: I have always been a fan of Beauty Bar and have a regular hairstylist at the salon. I set appointment with her but when I arrived to the salon, I was told I was switched to a different hairstylist without any prior notice. I tried the new hairstylist and hated her service! She was careless and unexperienced. She cut my hair in 10 minutes and spent 30 drying my hair. In the 30 minutes, she didn't even style it - all she did was blow dry it straight!. Bad: I spent $45 dollars for a ugly haircut. This was the WORST visit ever and I will NOT be coming back. The hairstylist and the receptionists were rude and inattentive, which might be because I'ma younger client but that does not mean I'm not a paying client! I'm am VERY VERY disappointed with the unpleasant haircut and service today. Thanks Beauty Bar!?.

I had been going to walk-in bargain hair places for years and have been reasonably pleased. For the last two years I have been going to Beauty Bar after the recommendation of a friend. I usually pay $25-$30 for a haircut but what a haircut! I wear my hair reasonably short but my last cut is still going strong after 3 months. They do great color and will wax anything you want waxed! The proprietor is from NYC and keeps up with everything current so I am sure they could do anything you want done. They try to keep a couple stylists free for walk-ins but I enjoy making an appointment because if you tell them what type of hair you have they will try to match you up with someone who is especially skilled with that hair type. Going there is an all around pampering experience!
