Conejo Valley Veterinary Hospital has a number of veterinarians on staff, and cares from everything from your usual cats and dogs to small animals like rabbits, to horses and other large animals. We've used them often and have found their veterinarians seem to be very knowledgeable about the animals. Our animals have undergone both routine maintenance and major surgery with no issues, I would highly recommend them.

The Pet Emergency Clinic on Moorpark road is the only place in Thousand Oaks (that I know of) that treats late night and after hour pet emergencies. They treat everything from pets hit by a car to sudden illness to allergy attacks. Think of them as an emergency room for pets--with the same long waits. The one time we had to go here we had to wait forever for a vet because they were taking the most critical cases first, etc.

I get all my party goods including balloons at Party Max. They offer a large selection of themed party goods, solid colored party goods and balloons. The prices are comparable to other party stores in the area if not a little cheaper. I have never had bad service either, the staff is always very helpful.

The owner is really kind and friendly. You get personal attention as this is not a huge operation. Once a month, there are $1.99 coupons in local fliers and there is no limit. They return items neatly cleaned and pressed within 2-3 days. We do not go anywhere else for our average clothes. Do not recommend for silk though. There are many restaurants nearby and if you go during dinner hours, it is really hard to find parking.

This store is pretty big and probably has everything you need in it. It is however pretty expensive. I think if you buy a few things you can try and talk them down a bit so don't be too discouraged. They also sell some small pets around the store. The parking situation is good though and it's convenient since it's right off Thousand Oaks Blvd.
