Way way over priced, horible service and to my shock when I asked the Chef's what part of Japan were you trained in, they were mostly from Indonesia and 1 was Chinese, yeah this is real traditional. I asked to speak to the Owner as they kept making mistakes on my orders and the manage came to me and said "" The Owner does not speak with customers"" Oh yeah, I'll be sure to come back soon, NOT ! Very average - Americanized Japanese Food. They have sushi (very average) and Teppan (pretty much fun but real Japanese Chefs don't want to make the food entertainment) Most people find this restaurant really good. But I will not be going back. Wait staff was very nice and did a good job. There's plenty of parking which is a plus. If I am going to spend the money for sushi in a restaurant - it needs to be fresh and great. Otherwise I'd go to Bristol Farms to buy pre-packaged sushi. Pros: Great parking Cons: Average Sushi more

I've been going to this location for almost 12 years now...Slight changes in sushi chefs, but still the same great food!\r \r I've eaten in Japan and everywhere inbetween...Something keeps me coming back year after year. Always fresh, always delicious, always pleasant people!\r \r Extremely good variety of sushi types, creative and inventive rolls and creations. Food is always good. I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal here. Every person I have ever brought there has loved it as much as I have.\r \r They even have a teppan room for larger dining groups. I have only dined in that area several times in the past years, but it was good as well. Standard teppan cuisine. Pros: Fresh sushi, great taste, large seating... I have only be to their Tarzana location! Their sushi is soooo goood!! I am so addicted to this place. Try their 911 roll,shrimp lovers roll, salmon skin handroll, cucumer salad. Tarzana is a small location so prepare to wait! Pros: Food and service are both great! Cons: Place is too small more

Great sushi, creative rolls, attentive wait staff, I love this place, it's pretty much the only place I go for sushi. The Tarzana location (near Tampa & Ventua) is great too. Highly recommend. more

This place is reasonable and has a high turnover. The sushi bar is adequate with a few surprises. Rolls are generally good (try albacore roll). All in all, pretty decent. more

The best sushi ever!! if you wanna experienced a pleasure of enjoying the scenery of the garden,patio and the most important thing the food?? this is it!! great food, great service, great rolls, and the secret is the fillet mignon from teppanyaki is to die for,worth driving.I had my birthday there and the chef of teppan was giving the best show for me and my family,the servers surprised me with birthday ice cream,dressed me in kimono and sang B'day song in english and japanese for us,plus took our picture and rewarded it in a card.Best moment ever!!!strongly recommended!!make your reservation now!!!
